Ignoring our 2 terrible contracts, and just focusing on the guys with actual value, how happy or unhappy are you?

#2 pick
#28 pick
Brandon Ingram (19 years old)
D'Angelo Russell (21 years old)
Ivica Zubac (20 years old)
Julius Randle (22 years old)
Larry Nance (24 years old)
-------
Tyler Ennis (22 years old)
David Nwaba (24 years old)
Tarik Black (25 years old)
Jordan Clarkson (25 years old)

Obviously it's debatable if you consider Nwaba,Clarkson,Black or Ennis as assets but a longer list makes me feel better about our future.

Pretty good, but Deng and Mozgov offset our best assets (Ingram, #2)

I don't see the logic in this at all,in what way do they offset our best assets?

I'm feeling a lot better than yesterday.

Keeping those two first round picks makes a huge difference going forward.

If we find ways to get rid of Deng/Mozgov bad contracts giving secondary assets like JC/#28/Julius/2nd rounders we would be in good "rebuilding" position.

Jim/Mitch screwed up our flexibility badly with those contracts, without them even if we don't have a clear all star in the making, we have good young pieces to put around an all star.

Getting back our capspace flexibility should be our priority number one IMO, because in two seasons Dlo's cap hold is going to hit us even harder than Julius next season.

Keep Ball/Russell/Ingram together. This is it. Let them gel and pray they become all-star level players. Hope they show serious potential next season.

I would be open to trading everyone else.

Goal should be to clear enough cap space for 2 max players next off-season. Trade Deng/Mozgov, use Clarkson/Randle/Nance/Zubac if you have to.

I'm saying any upside we get from Ingram or #2 is offset by the limitations we have due to Mozgov and Deng's contracts for next 3 years. We can't sign anime good bc of those contracts

Happy, but probably happier than most.

In my eyes...

DLO = dynamic scoring guard with all-star potential and a deadly 3

Ingram = possibly the next Greek Freak, we all saw the flashes

#2 = Fultz or Ball, either of which I think are surefire stars

Beyond these three, everyone is expendable. Though I do think JC, Randle, Nance, and Zubac could turn into valuable pieces given proper development.

Not sure about that. Philly is going to have a stacked young core next year especially if Embiid and Simmons are healthy, Minny has a great young core as well as Denver.
We're a top 5 young core, but not sure about the best young core, if Simmons is healthy and Embiid is healthy Philly has the best young core.

That's about where I stand.

Jordan Clarkson is on my list though as I think he's the perfect sixth man for this team.

I said it earlier in the season.. and it really hasn't changed -- I think Julius Randle is the odd person out in this "core." I like him.. but I wouldn't be heartbroken if he was moved for somebody in the off-season who maybe fit the team a little better.

Towns/Wiggins/#7/Dunn/Lavine/Jones/Shabazz

but I think we've moved into the top 3 discussion for sure. Denver is also somewhere right there...

Philly has a lot of roster balancing to do but IF healthy, Embiid and Simmons is a scary duo. Saric off the bench and then they'd need to trade Okafor but more wing depth but I'd like to see them take Monk and build the right kind of team. Embiid/Simmons/SF/SG/Monk//Saric

Russell made some nice strides at the end of the season; Ingram, Zubac, and Nance have shown some nflashes. It's too early to say what they'll become. Same with the trade picks, of course. Three years from now I could see Russell, Ingram or Zubac growing into something special; I could also see any of them not panning out. But at least they provide some hope.

Randle doesn't look to be anything special, and Clarkson seems a very run-of-the-mill guard. Black, Ennis and Nwaba could be OK bench players.

So overall: We don't have anyone like a Lebron, John Walls or Towns, who announced they were significant players out of the box. None of our guys have shown enough to cause a top free agent to want to come to play with them. But they could turn into something.

Wiggins is 22. He's just one year older than Russell (they share the same birthday), and he's younger than Clarkson, Randle, Nance, Ennis and Black.
