After celebrating with his family after the Lakers got the 2nd pick, Lonzo Ball goes to 24-Hour Fitness and works out that same evening. Have to give it to the Balls, they are workhorses.

Cool. Thanks.
That dirk step back though.
Why not in the Lonzo Ball thread? heh.
Work ethic reminds me a bit of what Kobe would do. He doesn't seem to give a (bleep) about anything outside of basketball, he's all focused on his game. Definitely coachable, he will do whatever it takes to improve, think that Magic genuinely sees a future with the kid.
That TigerDad of his is just another obstacle that Lonzo will need to overcome.
That "TigerDad" raised him into what he is. More involved with his kids than most dads. The antics are all to attract attention for his brand, and guess what...it's working.

Sometimes it backfires and blows up in the worst way possible like for Marv Marinovich and his son Todd. The way Lonzo's wired, think he will excel with pressure rather than escape from it.
If TigerDad wants to live vicariously through his kids like he's doing now, no one's stopping him. Lonzo will eventually find a balance between getting to where he needs to be and keeping the antics from becoming a distraction.

That 24 hr fitness has the lowest ceiling out of all them. They probably went to Cici's pizza or wingstop after they hooped. Chino Hills 24 the home of the you can't shoot rainbows or else the ball will hit the ceiling lol _________________ "Tryin' to get that Kobe number, One Over Jordan"

His jumper is wet, nice handles and court vision, not to mention elite size for the point guard position, would love to see him in the purple and gold.
Either we're cursed if we pick him or cursed if we don't.
people need someone to complain about like they complain about Dlo because they refuse to be happy or fully positive about anything. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Cici's closed months ago. They go to Subway and Archibald's quite a bit. _________________ #32 is the greatest Laker ever.
He's only one inch shorter than Kobe, btw. When was the last time a PG could do an alley hoop? I mean he's got good size, is athletic, can shoot and pass. Athleticism is something you can't teach. You either have it or you don't and Ball has it. The more I find out about Ball, the more I like him. Since we haven't drafted him yet, there's still a chance Ainge could surprise everyone so I'd prefer not to hype him up anymore than necessary. For now, I'll concede the fact that Fultz is a better player so Ainge should pick the BPA. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024
That dunk was nasty. Kid's got really underrated bounce. I'm hopeful that he can become a good slasher
He shot 73.2% inside the arc. So I think there's a pretty good chance of that happening _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I can see it coming:
He doesn't have that blow-by speed.
Slow footed fancy passer.

I mean he does have blow-by speed technically, and he's not slow footed. One of his strengths is his extreme speed on the break. So the DLO haters will have to pick up a new script.
