Mind you, I don't really watch TV news, and I've cut back on Sunday morning political news shows as they've lost their teeth. I read. Agendas abound even from trusted sources, so I'm careful about how I interpret what I read.
The few times I watched Fox News, I was amused and disgusted. It seemed like a warped, Orwellian Two Minutes Hate stretched into a longer format. The entire purpose was to use disinformation to whip the audience into some kind of angered frenzy. As a kid, I used to study late night and listen to Ray Bream after Dodgers games, so I know how paranoia can be addicting to an alienated and sometimes disturbed audience.
The other time I watched Fox News was limited to a youtube clip that was broadcast during the financial crisis. One of the LG members (Tulsa) sent it my way as he was concerned. Considering where the country and our financial institutions were after the Lehman/Bear Stearns meltdowns, it was irresponsible for any "news source" to advocate tightening money supply (that's exactly what magnified the devastation at the outset of the Great Depression)... but there they were, showing charts on how money supply had been loosened, and that it was going to cause runaway inflation, sewing panic and stupidity into their viewership.

To all women in the forum let me be clear. I'm by no stretch of the imagination defending Ailes. He's a predator of the lowest form.
If I'm reading it right all or most of these women had a choice. Could they have refused the advances and file suits? I don't know their personal reasons for not doing so. They could be valid.
IMO Roger Ailes can be shelved with the scum of the earth. He and people of his ilk (Donald Trump) feel empowered. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
