Assuming no big splash in Free Agency, and we go with Lonzo in the draft, how many wins would we get?

Please state if Swaggy is on the team in your scenario.

I think we'll win all of our wins. Which will be about 36.

Assuming no major free agent acquisitions, I'd be happy with that.

33-35. The #2 pick won't be moving the needle too much and from Magic's comments it seems as if they're going to punt this years FA class. The added wins will be from the progression of the young guys. a 7-9 win improvement would be a good season imo.

I'm a believer in the Lonzo effect. Would hope for around 38 wins.

It ALL depends on Dang and MozGoof, but to be conservative, I'll go with 31...

Assuming we don't pull off some blockbuster trade, this is my estimate as well.

Hard to say until we see the rest of the roster but our floor should be 30 wins as ot stands.

Last season Lou was our best player by almost every metric.

I'd say we are going to be luck to win the same number of games next season considering our young players may come back improved and we have a chance to draft a point guard something that may allow Dlo to focus on scoring that I believe is a role he can thrive compensating for Lou's departure.

Without some kind of splash I'm expecting to win less than 25 games and that is the main reason I'd like to trade for a difference maker now. I find it really difficult to sign anyone in free agency with a worse record than we had last season and that is a real possibility.

Our win rate with vs without Lou, iirc, was not that much different. We had about a 25 win rate after Lou, and with an expected improvement next season in the young guys, I don't see why we couldn't add at least 5 games to our win total if not more.

I hope so.

Our defense improved with the mid season acquisitions. Nwaba, Brewer and Ennis had a positive impact on the team.

I'd keep a close eye in Julius, Nance and Dlo. With few exceptions most players that are going to be difference makers have it going by the 3rd season. If they show they have it I'd start to think about extensions, if they don't show a great deal of improvement I'd try to move pieces at the trade deadline.

I agree, it would be a failure if we can't win 35-40 wins with the same roster + the addition of a great PG and a potential good player at #28.
