The two Laker GOATs, 10 championship rings and countless stories between them. As basketball players, they're gods and there's no need to argue who was the better Laker, but..

If you were holding a dinner party and you could have one of the two there and talk whatever you liked with them, who do you choose.

Kobe was a taker and Magic was a giver. No competition here. I mean if I was an NBA player, I would want to play alongside Magic in a heartbeat since he'd make me better and help pad my stats so I could get a max contract down the road. I don't think a lot of Kobe's former teammates liked playing with him at all.

Agree. I'd know I'd have a fun venting chatting with Magic, Kobe would be looking at this watch. Slava, would be fun but I'd never pass on Magic for Slava...

Could see that translating to a social setting too, Magic would be one to laugh at your jokes and give you some great setups, Kobe would be a more demanding listener but would give you some great breakdowns/insights on the right subjects but it'll have to revolve around what makes him tick.

Slava would be good for the Ukrainian Vodka he brings.

Yeah because how he was on the court will be exactly like how he will be at the dinner table

Man, of course Magic! Guy would entertainment the whole party but if there's games involved like charade or beer pong, I take Kobe, I like to win

Magic will light up the room like he lit up the floor. Have a gut feeling Kobe's not gonna say much.

If I want a guest to light up the room and make everyone laugh and feel safe and warm inside, while leaving the event with a sense of inspiration, I'll take Magic all the way. And that was my Poll answer.

But...

If I want my dinner guest to go out and mercilessly crush everyone they see, everyday, for the rest of their lives... I'd invite Kobe and his Musecage...

People didn't read the question. Unless they think Magic would be better at assisting the mashed potatoes.

I'd rather have a private talk with Kobe than Magic, but if I cared about the rest of my guests' experience Magic is probably the way to go.

I was about to say the same thing. Magic will light up the room with charm, but Kobe would have the most engaging conversation.

Slava, because I want to ask where the hell he has been these past years. I can't believe he showed up to Shaq's statue ceremony

SLAVA LIVES!

Yeah, Kobe's teammates really hated all that winning.

They liked him enough to show up for his final game. Like, 20 years worth of Laker teams in on one floor.

I'm still wondering where Eddie Jones was, though.

The easy answer is Magic, but I'll take Kobe because I'm more interested to seeing what he's like privately. Publicly, his interviews were always boring and scripted to me. I'd like to try to get to know the real him.
