It was never a secret that he grew up as a huge Lakers fan.

But he can still shove it, along with his wheel chair.

I'd put Larry Bird befor Kobe, just because i don't think it's fair to put 3 guards. I want a proper forward. If not Bird, Dr J (people forget how good Dr J was because he played his first 5 years in the ABA).

Magic
MJ
Bird
Duncan
Kareem

Second Team:

Big O
Kobe
Dr J
Lebron
Russell

Goes to show you never really know anybody. You would think he was the type that would not put Kobe ahead of himself. He puts him in an all time 5? Wow.. this is good revelation. I have a new view of Pierce now.

Magic
MJ
Lebron
Hakeem
Kareem

But that's my all time 5.

He was never really in that same tier of player and I think he realizes that

Not necessarily the best at each position but I think this team would ball out.

Magic
MJ
Lebron
Bird
Hakeem

Kobe
MJ
LeBron
Duncan
Shaq

I don't think there's a lineup that will ever beat that.

Nash/Allen

At anytime we could switch out for a 3pt shooter.

There's such disrespect at the power forward position In so many "top 5 starting lineups"

This would be my top 5

Magic Johnson
Michael Jordan
Kobe Bryant
Karl Malone
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Mailman gets NO love, when he's probably the best Power Forward of all time. You say "Tim Duncan" but Duncan never had to go through Jordan, and he didn't even get through Kobe the majority of the time.

I couldn't hear Paul over the sound of him shrieking and moaning like a venetian courtesan as he was carried off the court by a MASH unit.

True. Heck my top 5 lineups mostly have at PF a SF like LeBron or a C like Hakeem. Sometimes Duncan obviously.

There haven't been that many PFs that have been that good tbh. Karl Malone is less accomplished than the top 5-6 Centers. Now is he a better talent that some? Maybe but unfortunately he didn't win. But I'm expecting that the "PF" position will get better with teams the NBA going small. A lot of traditional SFs will play PF.

If you're really gonna complain about positions, just noticed that you have Kobe at SF. He played like 1 season as a SF...

Tier 1
i would love to agree but the #1 problem is going to be defense.

tier 1 can't guard kobe or bron. not even a little bit.

magic can't guard curry. so he takes kobe. but we know he can't guard kobe. so we have to put him back on curry. we know he can't guard curry so magic is going to get scored on by steph. yes magic will post him up and kill him on the block.

tier 2 can live with that.

bird can't guard curry, kobe, or lebron.

I was debating putting LeBron at PG and Durant at SF. Maybe switch Nash with Curry as well but I got Curry as the better player. Wanted to do an old school vs new school thing, sort of.

I would go with tier 2 as well. MJ can't guard 3 guys at once.
