Just look at the other guys... Only one guy is from the "old school". This guy must be like 12-14 years old.

Shaq isn't old school?
What exactly is the weakness in that team? Who would be better subbed out? I'll wait

No, Shaq is generally not old school. Wilt, Russell, Kareem are.

Weakness? Easy, Harden playing defense.

Nope. He'll have plenty of energy to exert on that end. His bad defense is hilariously blown out of proportion anyway because of a 10 minute video in a season where he spends 1800 minutes on that end. Not a sufficient sample size. But draw your ideas about him as a player based off that, by all means.

Wouldn't he quit mid-1st quarter?

I can see MJ slapping Harden every time he misses a defensive assignment.

2006.

Was Harden even playing in 2006?

Absolutely not. Why are you even discussing the modern NBA if you think Harden maybe was in the league in 06

Why respond with 2006 then?

You know why, I think.
Still, if you think Harden was possibly in the league in 06, that tells me all I need to know about your grasp on the best players in the league today.

Do you really believe I though Harden was playing in 2006? Have you ever heard of a rhetorical question? Geez.

Facts? Harden is a bad defender, that's a fact. Thinking that he'll get better because he will have more energy is not a fact. That's speculation.

Incorrect. He's a capable defender, and has shown it in spurts.
Was Kobe a bad defender ever since Shaq left? Or just one who didn't always try on that end?

Except they don't, I knew you were going to cite them though. Any objective fan will tell you he wasn't actually all-NBA caliber after Shaq left, and he got those by reputation alone.

There's probably threads on here attesting to that widespread belief, even among Lakers fans, lmao

Because I haven't done one of these in a while:

Magic
MJ
Lebron
Duncan
Kareem

This is going by the position each player is associated with and not fit. Basically, my all-time First Team All-NBA. But I'd give my second team all-NBA a great shot.

Stockton
Kobe
Bird
Malone
Wilt

I don't think there's a lineup that will ever beat that.

I would replace

Lebron with Magic
Duncan with Hakeem

then agree with you.
