It's weird to think that this would have been global news ten years ago. It's still making the rounds in the media, but nothing like it would have ten years ago.

The media painted him as some sort of weird hyper fetish sexual monster that preyed on women like a boogie man sneaking through your window in the middle of the night and into your bed.

Since than people thought he was just weird and wanted nothing to do with him. His game fell off and so did his popularity.

Quite sad for cheating on your wife. I read that His ex was a crazy person. When she found out about his cheating she attacked him with a golf club and knocked him out with it and his neighbor found tiger passed out on front lawn from the golf club assault

LINK?

He was never the same golfer after the car accident. He not only seemed to have lost the mental edge, 85% of the game, his body failed him. Such wasted given talent.

That's the key right there. Sexual deviant or not, if he continued to be all-world Tiger, this would be a bigger deal.

His obsession with Navy Seals training which decimated his body didn't help either....

This could effect his $90 million/year endorsements, most of them probably have morals/arrest clauses...

How will he feed his family?

Mug shots seem to bring out the best in you. e.g. Nick Nolte .... James Brown

The dude's a joke now, but he's still probably the 2nd or 3rd greatest golfer of all time even after having the last 10 years of his career ruined by injuries and just generally being a dumbass. Just goes to show how good he was in his prime

Lance Armstrong is laughing somewhere, then realizes he's in the same boat.

It's tough to have a good mugshot, but that one is truly awful.

The bet back then was Tiger vs the field, he was so dominant.

In a statement released Monday evening, Woods said alcohol was not a factor in his arrest, which he said stemmed from an "unexpected reaction" to prescription medication.

"I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions," Woods said in the statement. "I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn't realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.

I suppose that's plausible. Still, it makes me wonder whether he's got a pill problem. Given all of his physical issues, it wouldn't be surprising.

I think he's probably a raging alcoholic. His face looks 100% like he's got the alcohol bloat going on.
