There's already a thread for this.

I know there's a thread about his parole. I didn't see a opinion poll. Is there one? If so please direct me to it.

I do believe he killed his ex-wife and Ron Goldman but that's not the crime for which he is currently serving time. We can't start a precedence of making punishment for a separate crime more severe because we didn't get a conviction for another crime.

Man this is crazy. This parole hearing is being carried by all 3 majors, NBC, ABC, CBS, not to mention the sports stations.

Not really, it was a loss for the system. He was sentenced to 33 years for a crime usually punished by 6 months in jail. I'm a believer in the system. The system took a hit.

The judge who did the sentencing should have been removed from the bench. IMO she sentenced him for Nicole Simpson, Ron Goldman's murders. That was a miscarriage of justice.

It made those who believe he committed the murders happy but another murder was committed, the system was killed.

Keep the faith those who think he did the killings, his parole hearing is in Nevada. I'll be surprised if he's granted parole.

I can't hurt too much for this piece of sh. He wasn't convicted of the murders, but he did em. Perhaps with an accomplice. Cosmic justice this is.

So you're in favor of cosmic justice?

What does that say about the justice system? Doesn't that say the system can be circumvented to suit?

There was nothing 'COSMIC' about it. That was just straight up abuse of power and position.

Hopefully somebody will put together a bunch of his quotes today. Never brandished a weapon. Led a conflict free life. Always tried to be a good soldier.

Ain't lookin good for O.J. When will we know what they decide? Dude should have just Morgan Freeman'd his way through that hearing instead of talking.

Stamp your form, sonny.

You know how in a basketball game, sometimes you'll see an inexplicably bad call on one end, and then, 10 seconds later, you'll see an equally bad call that evens out the calls? You know, a make-up call? That's exactly what OJ getting 9 years for his offense was. We all know that it was a make-up call for his murder acquittal.

Mark Geragos just said on CNN that this should have been a one-year case, and even Jeffrey Toobin, who despises Simpson, had to agree.

Nah, it was supposedly more or less a foregone conclusion that he was going get paroled. He did his best to screw himself over in there by not taking any responsibility for a damn thing, but I wouldn't say he lucked out necessarily

This article says he may have accrued more than $600K in NFL pension during his time in prison.

LINK

He's trying to get his parole transferred to Florida no doubt to continue trying to protect his future earnings from the Brown and Goldman families. Don't know what will happen if that's denied.
