While I've been to a number of outdoor music fests, primarily for the atmosphere, I've only been to 2 arena concerts ever. Both with my then Swedish GF who was really into live music.

1) Bryan Adams - Honolulu - New Years Eve 1993

then later that year on the way to Sweden

2) Pink Floyd - Vancouver BC 1994

Both concerts were awesome, but I think it was more to do with the company...

Division Bell Tour? Nice. The 'Pulse' concert film was shot during that tour iirc. Definitely one of my favorite live albums/concert movies.

Yeah, although unlike on the Pulse album, they hadn’t yet started playing Dark Side front to back.

GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Michael Jackson beat it tour in the 80's. I was a little kid and a big enough MJ fan to rock the pins and had a grey version of his famous zipper jacket.

I never thought I would ever see him live. Never even asked the parents. One day pops says "hey, put your close on. we're about to go some where nice."

driving, driving, and driving. I still didnt have a clue. Got into the stadium. at the time i had no clue where it was. now looking at the tour dates it was at dodgers stadium. probably my first time there too.

I'm still not understanding where I am or whats going on. Then the laser light show starts. I'm like wow this is dope...actually back then it was "this is fresh."
Still not knowing. Then I see fans on screen in red mj jackets. I'm like no you didnt pops... no ...You ...didnt. Then it gets dark. and all you could see was that shiny glove...and the music kicks in.

The first time and probably the last time I felt like that witnessing another person live. That was the first time I could ALMOSt understand why people would faint when they saw him. I said almost. lol,

To top it all off. Janet was sitting up top in some kind booth. they showed her on camera. obviously back then everyone had a crush on her too.

House of Pain opening up for the Beastie Boys in 91 or 92. Small little venue at a local amusement park. Ballroom held maybe 500 people, it was hot, and the concert was insane. Probably no other way to describe it.

Next best was a House of Blues tour, with George Clinton headlining, Cypress Hill, Erykah Badu, the Roots all performing. Just a great show.

Lastly, any Motley Crue show I went to, Tommy Lee drum solos always just blew my mind watching. I don't if he's a good technical drummer, but he knew how to entertain.
