Great as always. Those 30/30 series are always top notch.

I had no idea (or maybe amnesia by choice) that the Lakers could've been 3-0 vs Boston in the Finals during the 80s had it not been for James Worthy's lazy moronic pass in game 2. Would've been huge going back to LA with a 2-0 lead.

Yeah but he made up for it with this pass to Magic in Game 6 to help seal the championship in 87.

That was so awesome.

thing that pisses me off most is that jerk coach not putting Wilt back in in game 7 in 1969, you flip that series and we lead in titles 17-16

LAkers could easily be at 20 with Boston at 15.

'69: as you referenced above
'84: Worthy and Magic brainfarts
'89: Magic and Scott hammy injuries
'04: Malone injured. Mailman had been the key vs TD and would have been vs "sheed also

Makes me sick at least we should have gotten '84 and '69.

Injuries are what they are but the '89 series was pretty much done before it started.

You can add '08 to the list:

- Bynum injured
-Ariza limited/coming back from injury
- Game 4 24-point collapse
- Game 2 Leon Powe game

If Kobe didnt get hurt we'd have had a real shot in '13 too, he was a man on a mission that year

Towards the end of that year it was like he had figured everything out. He was making clutch shot after clutch shot. Every time he went to the hoop you just knew it was going in. Kobe would have killed the spurs. The series that would have come after were teams we had beaten in the regular season
