This is a good point. Lakers are the one franchise in the league that literally pack arenas nationwide. It’s what made Kobe’s farewell tour so special, the fact that he had thousands of fans rooting him and the Lakers on one last time. Of course, this has always been the case with us on the road. You would always have the subtle MVP chants when Kobe was at the FT line, and the loud cheers and ooh’s and ahh’s when he would score. LeBron would get that too as a Cav, but not to the extent that he will a Laker. We have the best and most passionate fans that show up across the country to cheer us on. He’s going to see the appreciation for his greatness magnified in the purple and gold. |

| Went to the NBA store in Manhattan today. As soon as you enter, there’s a whole section of Lebron jerseys. They’re selling them like hot cakes. |

Last year he started off at 97, then hit 98 mid season and dropped back down to 97. |

GT went back to his roots on this one. Teaching us all sorts of plays Lebron likes to run. Almost had tears of joy seeing what Lebron will bring as the half court quarterback vs all our missed opportunities last season. Great work as usual! |

I remember earlier basketball games in the 90's and early 2000's wouldn't have Jordan on any roster, even his own Bulls team. I guess the developers thought it was "unfair" to put MJ in the game (actually, it was more or less due to licensing reasons and the Jordan brand asking for inordinate sums of royalties to use him in their games).
