Per ShamWow: Cavs just traded Kyrie to Celtics for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic (Croatian center), and the unprotected (!) Brooklyn 2018 pick.

Anybody think he's not leaving now? We could probably offfer him a minimum deal.

It may not matter in the end, but LeBron has to be impressed with Koby Altman's first big move out of the gate. AK

I hope that's sarcasm.

That's player talk. Unique doesn't mean I want him on my team. It means "I can't believe that little guy can even play in this league". LeBron is bummed.

Great trade for the Cavs.

James will stay in Cleveland...

Time to start to rebuild properly...

Way too soon to tell.

And if no James we will still offer max deals to guys who are over 27 years old.

If the Cavs had any sort of realization, they would now be open to trading LeBron and completely going to rebuild mode.

I doubt this is the move that keeps LeBron in Cleveland trhough I think it definitely gave Cleveland the upper hand to make it to the finals. Boston looked like the better team 9 hours ago.

BUT, if it does keep LeBron in Cleveland for some weird reason.. we modify our strategy to Paul George and DMC like Yinoma said.

Still don't see Bron staying in Cleveland though.

Thomas can be even better than Irving. Then they have Crowder, who is better than Smith and Shumpert and they could trade the pick for another win now player. Where James is going to have more chances? In a even more stacked team in the East or here in the West with only another max guy and rookies?

Time to develop the young guys and rebuild the right way...

What is rebuild the right way? Bc the Lakers are going to pursue 2 max level players even if no lbj.

Hope it's not like Deng and Mozgov, because they could block PG for tampering, and I'm not sure about Westbrook and Cousins coming...

Rebuild the right way means trading Lopez for picks, just to start...

I don't think LeBron's decision to stay or leave Cleveland was ever going to come down to what players were around him there. This changes nothing.

Yep.

LeBron has known since draft time that the Cavs were trying to trade Irving and this does nothing to make them significantly better.

LeBron to Lakers is still in play.

Yep and when you consider the Cav's average player age is higher and if he comes to LA he could potentially play with PG13, Lonzo, etc, he has a longer window to win another ring....of course he also has a giant roadblock in the form of the Warriors but he would have to face them regardless.

Kyle Kuzma + Clarkson and Deng.

Take it or leave it easy.

So much for hating Kyrie

They are both just orchestrating their way out of Cleveland. That's all this manufactured drama was.

Lebron has no idea at this point what he will do after the season.
