It would be Lebron easily. Kawhi has no case with the Raptors being the 1st seed for the last couple of years before him, and Bucks being a top 4 team in the weak East wouldn’t do it over Lebron’s better stats and a top 3 team in the West. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Once again, the King delivers.
He's the main reason we're 6-1 in our last 7 games. He's doing everything on the court and it's beautiful to watch.
LABron will at some point bring a title back to the Lakers franchise.
Book it. _________________ I miss you Kobe. I miss you Gigi. |

LBJ and Lonzo chemistry is getting better and better. Hopefully we get Rondo back soon and the 2nd unit won't look so damn confused. |

It'd be nice if the Lakers can get an easy win and get Lebron some rest. Long term you don't want to wear him down, especially this early in the season when typically he's still hibernating and doesn't wake up till after the All Star game |

It's nice that he only played 36 min in a close game though. It'd be nicer if he played 26 min because we blew out the worst team in the NBA, but Luke's doing a pretty good job keeping his minutes low. |

I thought voters like new shiny toys?
Anyway, the season is early. Whoever is MVP I'm sure the voters will get it right. They always do. |

Year 16 and this man is still the best player in the league, and it's still not even close. Absolutely incredible |

Good read on how LeBron has turned the corner after struggling a little bit early in the season. |
He's a demonstrably slow starter, at least as a shooter/scorer. I posted the stats when he was "struggling", but here they are again.
October (career, 39 games): 23.7 PPG, 29% 3-point percentage, 71% free throw percentage, 112 offensive rating
Career: 27.2 PPG, 34.5% 3-point percentage, 74% free throw percentage, 116 offensive rating |

Lebron is carrying this team I think he gets MVP this year. It's going to be hard to vote against him when your second best player on the team is Javale McGee. |

LeBron made the right choice (duh!) coming to this Lakers team. He is absolutely leading and carrying this team, BUT it's not a heavy load. He's racking up these numbers and it's been easy. He's doing it in the fewest minutes per game ever in his career. In part because this team is loaded with ball-handlers and play-makers. There is talent on this team. It's young and developing, but the talent is there. The early success flies in the face of the thought process that LeBron needs to dominate the ball and has to be surrounded by great shooters to win. The Lakers still score a ton in the paint. Still score a ton on the break. LeBron's physical exertion level is different when you're dragging last year's Cleveland squad to the Finals vs being the leader on this Lakers squad. A lot of credit should also be given to his teammates who can initiate and run the offense. Who switch and play hard on defense. Once the kids can consistently play better on the road as they do at home, look out. |

Dude needs more help that's for certain. We need to 'protect' him. Another player that can share the scoring burden consistently needs to be promoted or found. |

Lebron leads the team in points, rebounds, assists and steals.
Points: 28.9
Rebounds: 8.1
Assists: 6.9
Steals: 1.4 _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I wouldn't say easily but I wouldn't argue with anybody that thinks he is GOAT. For me he is climbing the ladder and getting close. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Not gonna lie. I couldn't care less if voters pick Giannis or Kawhi over him for the MVP as long as he leads us back to playoff status this year. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Cavs knew LeBron was gonna be a Laker when they won the title in 2016, a lot of new info coming out now, looks like his arrival was planned a few years ago. |
Interesting that this is before Jim and Mitch were fired. |

I think the fact of the matter is he was probably coming here regardless of who was in charge. Having Magic certainly didn't hurt. |
