I’m sure Lebron w _at_ ntscanither star, but having moldable talented kids seems like it is working out just fine. Combine that with enough old school vets, we are a playoff team.

I think the Lebron effect is in FULL effect. Despite some thinking we have got off to a somewhat slow/disappointing season, I think its clear that the Lakers current record is at just about as good as it could have realistically been considering the ridiculous competition in the West.
If we didnt sign Lebron and kept Randle we are likely the 2nd worst team in the West without a prayer of making the playoffs. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi

We're 2 games out from 1st place in the West. And Rondo and Ingram have missed time.

The Lebron effect is amazing. If he is not the MVP, something is wrong.
Last year the Lakers were a LOTTERY team second to the last in the West.
Add Lebron and Lakers are in contention for top spot in the West.
Lebron just needs a second star shooter/scorer to win the west.
A KD or KL would do the trick. A AD would not as he would not blend well with Lebron and clog the lane.
Lebron is already making players around him look better. Kuzma is playing like an all star. Lonzo is coming around. Hart is solid.
McGee and Chandler are controlling the paint. Rondo has proven to be valuable.
Magic and Pelinka know what they are doing. Doubt if they would sell the farm for AD. Better to shoot yourself in the foot.
I feel he is genuinely happy to be a laker, you can tell he is enjoying his life in LA, even without championship, he looks much happier than CLE days
He was happy at Miami. He's happy at the Lakers. Maybe Lebron was angry at Cleveland because Cleveland just sucks, but everyone in the city were demanding he bring them a championship ...
I’ve been a Bron stanning my entire life. He absolutely is having the most fun since his third season in Miami. People were (bleep) on the Lakers the entire offseason....”they won’t make the playoffs”...”they need another star”...”they aren’t better than Cleveland”. I still can’t believe people thought all this. The Cleveland team last year was terrible. I’d take Kuz over Love every single day of the week. George Hill couldn’t throw a post-entry pass. Rodney Hood looked terrified of the moment.
Say what you want, but the young core for the Lakers never play scared. Sure, they make a few mistakes here and there. But they always play hard. I watch guys like Kuz attack every single night and I know it absolutely gives LeBron energy. Also, from all the reports, it’s obvious that all of the young core put a (bleep) ton of time into their craft. They give a (bleep)! LeBron likes guys with a high b-ball IQ (check), compete hard (check), work on their games (check), and are professionals (check). He loves this team.

that will be the gameplan for smart teams, to let the lakers try to beat them from the outside. That said, he clearly didnt have the juice but wizards had a good game plan, ingram could've helped as he is one of the only guys we have that can drive to the basket in the half court. Kuzma and hart are slashers and lonzo...well, he's just there most of the time
