Walt “Clyde” Frazier is the absolute best. He decimated Stu Lance and his “Noice”. I’ve listened to a lot of Walt on the radio when I was a kid. I missed the part of the game where he called out Lebron, but if he did then I believe it.

We just can't seem to shake the post Paul trade fiasco(organization assassination?) blues.

He also had less mileage on his body (by around 2,100 minutes) and broke down before even hitting the minute total LeBron is currently at.

Yeah, he also worked on technique his whole career that allowed him to create separation so that he could get shots off in tough situations, make or miss, without having to rely on sly stiffarms during prior acceleration.

Your best player being able to create separation is something I'm sure you appreciate as a Rockets fan.

LeBron's best role is not the guy who should carry the team the way Kobe used to. Instead, you want him to be the ultimate 2nd guy who can still go off for 50 every now and then, but allows someone else to carry the heavy lifting with him. Ideally, you have someone like Kyrie who can do that. Kawhi can do that. I know KD can. Kemba can. BI was showing flashes. But the way the team is currently constructed, we have guys who are more playmaker than finisher (Lonzo, Rondo, Lance), guys who are better with the ball int their hands (BI), and finishers who either can't shoot or who are shooting poorly (Kuzma, KCP, McGee, Hart, Bullock).

We just need that other max player and then better roster balance.

Agree Lebron should play the Pippen role in the offense. If Lebron is willing to play the Pippen role, then Kawhi would be a good fit as the #1 guy.

No big time FA is going to waste their prime playing with a over-the-hill LBJ.

This site is going to go bananas when nobody signs in the off season. I said it when we signed lebron...nobody wants to play with him. Kawhi has let it be known through his people that he's not coming here so I don't know why people keep bringing him up. Klay doesn't like him. KD has no desire to play in a "toxic" environment. Maybe Kyrie, but I highly doubt it. We're gonna end up with Jimmy Butler and the locker room is going to go from toxic to fatal.

We're already at fatal. Only hope is Zion.

Walt Frazier rips LeBron during broadcast.

“When you’re the face of the NBA, you should be more a part of your team,” Frazier, an MSG analyst, said Sunday during the Knicks-Lakers matchup at the Garden. “No matter what is going on. In the public you got to be a part pf the team. In the locker room you’re not. But you have to exude that type of togetherness in public. And right you see he doesn’t really care.”

I saw this and all i could do was shake my head.

Why would any self-respecting max free agent want to join this circus?

He truly is the ultimate Leader.

Definitely thinking about Lebron should be traded.

If the rumors about nobody wanting to play with him are true, Lebron should be traded straight up for Anthony Davis. New Orleans get 3 years of control of Lebron while he plays with a cast that shoots, while we get AD wanting out of NO in the first place.

If we get the 1st pick for Zion, then this move makes even more sense.

Then with Lebron gone, we can now get Kawhi and have a lineup of Lonzo/Ingram/Leonard/Zion/Davis. That’s a championship lineup on both sides of the court.

Lebron clutch stats at 33

Lebron clutch stats at 34

Is it more:
1) the lack of shooting on the roster
2) the lack of coaching in late game situations
3) the lack of experience
4) Lebron's age

The Lakers are not in as bad a position as everyone makes it seem.

Even without a marquee free agent signing, the Lakers can still be very good next year.

Fans will be fans though.

with lebron traded i bet AD doesnt sign.

just trade him to phoenix for Ayton, 2019 pick, josh jackson, okobo, miles bridges and 2020 pick

they can play booker + Lebron

LBJ does not have a lot of trade value around the league. You would be lucky to get a decent prospect and a couple of 1st round picks.

His ft% and 3pt% were lower last season. It was just bolstered by his high 2pFG%. Now that's down a ton.

Could you imagine trading LeBron James. This is the guy that has terrorized the league for years, and the Lakers dump him after one season.
