Jeannie might be planning to trade him and Magic quit because he doesn't want to be around when it happens. She didn't inquire about his no-trade clause for no reason. The "leaks" were obviously coming from the NO side. Those things didn't benefit Klutch in any way and potentially made it harder for the Lakers to go after Davis. |

He's going to be 35 later this year. Short of a miracle I honestly see no way the Lakers can turn things around where they can compete for a championship in his remaining prime. It just seems pointless to deal with this guy's drama. We already saw the Kobe fairwell tour and it doesn't end well.
Seriously he should ask for a trade. Unless he's satisfied just being in LA for his brand/movies/weather he really should ask to go somewhere else where he can actually be relevent on the basketball court. |
