Looked rusty and not in game shape. Not surprising since he barely picked up the ball the last few months prob only started practicing a couple weeks ago.
Only played 28mins. Lowest in his career for first game of the season. Failed to record a double in game 1 since 2014. Weird is the guy still had a +2 for the night. |

No worries. Father Time may be lurking but not here yet.
The whole team looked surprisingly “ off” last night. Not just James. |

Vogel probably would have played him a few more minutes but might have been cautious of that ankle. |

I actually thought LeBron had the best game out there, lol that’s not good cause he was clearly rusty. He attacked the Clippers at all levels and after a rough 1st, had great energy. He and Dennis gave us much needed offense. It’s not weird that he was a +2 at all. Every time he sat we fell behind, especially the end of the third. We never recovered with him off the floor and with Dennis as the primary ball handler. |

Play against the Mavs then sit against the Wolves. This schedule is brutal. I'm glad we have a deep team because we're gonna need everyone to contribute. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend! |

one thing to keep note of is these guys beat the crap out of themselves during the season. so, you can imagine the toll come the finals.
they've had like what? 7 weeks since they won the championship? any nagging injuries will most likely NOT have healed by now.
this is why some pundits have the lakers even finishing mid pack in the west. not because we can't torch teams... but it might behoove Vogel to load manage his players during the RS.
slow and steady wins the race, as they say. |

That's pretty insane. Also shows how lucky he has been to never suffer a considerable injury. At least early on in the 1st quarter. I guess that's why he puts in more than a million bucks into his body every year. |

Any hooper/sneakerheads in here?
Got my first pair of the Nike Lebron 18’s.
Really disappointed that there low tops and they feel sorta like flynit running shoes.
Not that it really matters since I can’t lace em up and run a bunch of full court games atm.
As much as pro hoopers wanna say it doesn’t matter on high, mid, or low tops on terms of any injuries I felt that’s always BS.
Even if you tape your ankles.
Always felt mids and highs always give the best protection.
I truly believe Lebron’s ankle issue from earlier is because of this new decision to make his latest Nike signature a low top. |
