Agreed, but I think george may have Cousins in mind, not lebron

@Sam_Amick

The double-whammy for the Clippers: Chris Paul isn't leaving if he truly believes LeBron is coming next summer. That prospect looking bleak.

Yeah but Rockets will also have $50MM in cap next season... same time Wade and Melo are free agents.

Like a report said... Bron was never going to go to the Clippers. CP knew that.

If PG does get traded to BOS, I think a serious Brawn can convince him to bolt to LA with him as a duo. Same sh as Miami and GS. This is the NEW NBA where players pull this kinda thing making mongoloids like Dan Gilbert and Pritchard go mental. PG saying he wants to be traded to the Lakers doesn't sound too much like, "You know, maybe I'll stay here with their mortal enemy instead." This is up to those two and having the cash ready, a la Shaq 96.

ESPN Michael Eaves just said that from what he's been hearing from LeBron's camp is that LeBron is definitely leaving to go to Los Angeles next summer. He basically guaranteed it's going to happen.

He then said that the reason why Chris Paul decided not to stay with the Clippers (besides not getting along with Doc River's view of the team) but also so that he can have options next summer - he now has freedom to see how he and Harden do in Houston. If he doesn't, he has the option to also join his pal LeBron to LA, and it's not to rejoin the Clippers.

Keep any eye on this podcast to refresh:

It should be today's date hour #1.

Thanks just about everybody is confirming this. I don't know how Chris Paul and Lonzo Ball would fit.

But that's an old banana, the banana boat that Dlo, Booker, Towns, Simmons could form in 2022 should be the target for teams wanting to win at the eclipse of the Warrior's title window.

Michael Eaves is a good reporter. There is a reason why magic and Rob are so confident about 2018.

Yep, CP3 can get your complimentary players good looks. Clippers offense will have a hard time going now that he's gone.

I don't think CP3 is part of the plan.

Didn't happen the last 4 years of Jim and Mitch. It's a welcome change.

If that's true, then the Rockets would have a 1-year rental on CP3, which I don't think he's going to do. He'll stay there.
