DLo gets smacked in the face = no foul. Murray falls on his own accord, no contact = foul. AD with a clean screen = 4th foul and in foul trouble in the 3rd. LeBron lightly grazes Murray (significantly less contact than much of the mauling the Nuggets inflicted on the Lakers) = game-tying free throws in the final minute of the game.
I understand the hopelessness, given the odds being stacked against this team. But if y’all are showing up to Game 3 and Game 4, let’s do our best as SIXTH MEN.
Let’s come together and impose our collective will. How can we chant our way to a call or two (or even just getting in heads)? Some ideas:
Jo-Kic Tra-vels *clap clap* *clap clap clap*
Il-legal screens *clap clap* *clap clap clap*
Jo-Kic El-Bows *clap clap* *clap clap clap*
Or anything else y’all think could be effective!
The margin (not to invoke “marginal” contact) for error is so incredibly slim, so let’s force the officials to think about the numerous violations that the Nuggets are committing, or even get the Nuggets to play a half-second slower with our watchful eye.
It’s not over until it’s over. If you’re attending Game 3 or Game 4, let’s come together and give our squad an assist. |

They'll snap some selfies and post a few stories on IG/Tok Tok and call it a day.

Yes.. so many influencers/fake celebrities these days. Far worse than it was 10-15 years ago, due to the rise of social media and the attention economy. All the real fans are either in the upper seats or watching from home.

The front rows are full of celebrities who are just there to look good and wouldn't even cheer even when the Lakers were playing well.

I sit in the lower bowel as a STM. Last year for the playoffs it was different. Much different tone. Mostly very passionate fans. Pretty much everyone is paying close attention to those games. I’m going to both home games this week |

| forget it, the only chants Laker home crowd knows is "xxxxxx su*ck". don't believe me, take a listen next time. very imaginary for sure. Knicks, Celtics and Sixers fans are the best at come up with interesting chants. |

LA crowd sucks unless they have anything to cheer about.
Look at how dead they were yesterday, even when we were winning the game.
Everyone got a shirt to wear and about 10 people wore them.
I always wish we had a loud dedicated crowd, but we don't.
I can't afford to go but if I did, I would yell, cheer.
Seems like a lot of folks that go to games got tickets free, or company purchased, or celebrity seat fillers.
Just my opinion.... |

That's the thing with Lakers home games, half the people attending aren't real fans and dont care about getting loud. Tickets are too expensive for the average fan.

I complained about the dead crowds here around 10-14 years ago and got snobby responses like “We’re the Lakers we don’t need to do gimmicks like wearing shirts and making noise and we won plenty of titles already.”
Personally if a loud crowd gives the team an extra edge I want the team to have that extra edge. I remember Shaq once said the crowd was too laid back for him. |
