We have worked out how many guys this summer? They could have a big board going to 60 or 80. They could buy late second rounders or be ready to pick at any position in the draft if someone floats the right deal (that doesn't include #2 of course).

You can forget about Clarkson, because we NEED to trade him to Indiana to make salaries match. Only guys that could be valuable enough to do it are maybe Nance or Zubac.

If they're targeting Collins, one or two of Randle, Nance, and Zu may be going out to Indiana.

My heart hurts, mang.

If the Lakers give up key assets for Paul George, it's as dumb as paying a woman to sleep with you who would've done so anyway. However, after seeing their poor judgment over the Jerry West situation, I figure anything could happen. I'm trying to keep the faith in the new management, but it's hard right now. Hopefully, they will pleasantly surprise us and not do anything crazy.

Interesting they are trying to get another. I would assume it's for PG but maybe there is someone they really like?

Still, they don't have the assets to acquire a pick and get PG so who knows. Unless they do what I was saying and take on a gasol or someone's expiring in exchange for a first.

The Lakers have engaged at least two teams in the lottery, sources said, as they search for players to improve their outside shooting and perimeter defense.

they can trade a young player that was drafted top 8 for a current day top 8 pick.

Cold, man, cold. I obviously didn't catch this response before hitting you up with the same post in the draft thread lol.

Still, that's cold. How would you rank them in priority of retention?

And you know what else is stupid. Thinking a top 10 player would want to come here after having success with a winning team. Especially Lebron. If they do well, which I fully expect them to do, we can forget about PG13 & Lebron next season. No one is going to say, "Let's play together for the Cavs this season and then go to LA and play together again."

People were saying two seasons ago, Durant & Westbrook were going to team up in LA. I'm like, your morons, they already play together!!!

I'm not saying we trade DLO, Ingram, or the #2 (which I'm not sold on), but at some point you have to crack some eggs to make an omelet. As long as we keep those three, we should good. You are foolish to think this team's core will be intact for very much longer. People get traded. Teams make moves. We will be lucky by the time we are contending that we have 3 core member left by then.

I hope we get another defender in the front court. Maybe a rebounding superstar like Jordan Bell. I know they have been working him out he could be another AC green. The scouting for the Lakers is excellent I trust them to get a balanced draft of young talent. Future looks bright Lakers I'm thrilled we have these picks.

Atleast we have assets to be in trade talks now, better then the last couple of off seasons.

Booker and Ball would be fun to watch no doubt.

Could we do something like Nance or Zu + a 2020 first to get a pick in the late lotto and package that pick for George? Honestly doubt we'll be able to get another pick but we'll see. From the reports it seems likely we'd target Kennard if we end up keeping the pick, which is fine to me.

Honestly, I'm starting to think those Lonzo Ball smokescreens by the Lakers (he's not in shape, not that impressive) were put out because the Lakers didn't want the Suns to make a trade with Boston for the #1 pick.

Now they get Lonzo if they want him but also the only way for Pheonix to get to Lonzo is by giving the Lakers assets, not some other team.

My guess is the pick would be to include in the George trade.

Don't trade Nance or Zu.

I'd be okay with clarkson and 28 to get Kennard

between randle nance and zubac?

hard to say. randle defensive IQ is garbage. nance offensive impact is garbage, and he's old. zubac doughy and very little lateral agility.

probably
1. zubac
2. randle
3. nance

but if you thought any order i'd understand
