Surprised to hear the outrage over the D Lo trade.

The new FO inherited some terrible contracts they have to make to clear space for top tier signings. Shipping Mozgov helps big time.

Also, with the #2 pick, we're getting a point guard that Magic and Luke want.

Be patient and get over the cracked egg of D Lo.

Omelet coming.

Let's ship Ingram and the Deng contract for a 2nd round pick and an expiring while we're at it.

Omelettes!

In this case, a bunch of egg shell pieces broke off in the eggs, and the omelet got burned. And then it slipped out of the pan and fell on the floor. And then Magic slipped on it and hit his head. Hence this trade

Why did we have to trade our best player to make room now for a move that is unlikely to happen in 2018 ?

This move doesn't accomplish much in my opinion and I don't see a legitimate reason why it had to happen now.

Great thread, all this whining has really put this board on a dark spot.

If things go as planned, the team will be better positioned to win with Lonzo Ball, Brooke Lopez, Paul George and $20 Million plus in new cap space next year, even if it costs us D Lo and Randle or Clarkson, and late round pick.

Or, crack some eggs and you have nothing besides some yolk on the floor.

If we get Paul George I'm going to feel like a Lakers fan again.

Losing 200 games in four seasons without a single player in the roster you can really build around ... it is for Clippers fans not for us.

Unloading Mozgov was a huge move, we can have two max players here in as many seasons while we still have plenty of young talent to develop.
