I'm gonna reserve judgement until all the moves are done, but I don't hate the DLO/Moz move although I would have hoped they'd have had the PG13 thing in place before making the move.
Even if we did trade the 2 for 5/10 and traded the 10
DSJ
Paul
Ingram
Nance
Lopez
Is better than what we were rolling with last year. I know we all have some attachment to the players we were watching the past couple of years and our draft pick this year, but reality is that we were going nowhere fast...it's ok to break this whole thing down, I just hope there is some coherent plan other than clearing cap room and sending out players for inferior assets. We will see, definitely interesting to watch. |

So if they wanted to trade the #2, then Magic is thinking
Fox is their PG and was probably risking still being available at #5.
And do they now still go with Fox with the #2 ? |

Hated Vlade for missing that FT vs. Bulls that would've tied the series but he's definitely come through big twice for Lakers: this and tapping that ball to Horry. |

Lakers, per sources, engaged Sacramento in talks that would have sent the 2nd pick to the Kings for Sac’s two 1st-rounders (5 and 10) (1/2)

Lakers would have then packaged one of the Kings’ picks w/27 & 28 along w/player in offer to Indy for Paul George. But Kings said no (2/2).
5th Pick/27th/28th/Additional Player to the Pacers for Paul George.... a guy we have ALL the leverage to get and could have just waited a season for...

And here i thought Rob Pelinka was an intelligent guy. Totally lucked out on Kobe and all his other clients followed. |

First off one knows what is going on here unless they are actually in these conversation. Everything is speculation. If you don't like the current reigme, the door is over there, down the hall to Clipperville. |

You can't forget Vlad's biggest clutch moment.. Kobe. If Vlade wasn't a solid nba player we might have not had a good shot at Kobe. I think Vlade was 15-10-3 and in his prime when he was traded. |

Vlade always a Laker at heart. Getting traded for kobe. That pass to Horry. And now helping them get Ball. |

I'd rather have 5 & 10 than 2 in this draft.
That gives you a shot at trading one of the picks, and selecting the best player in the draft - Dennis Smith Jr - with the other. |

Trade mozgov, lou, Dlo, Clarkson and/or randle, the number two, and get a guy who wants to come as a free agent next year. And oh yeah, not even have those ducks lined up. Who needs Jerry West. I would say Jerry is laughing at us but being a Laker at heart he probably is looking at this in pain. |

No, that's the events. So it is either the process or they don't have one. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

I don't believe a word of this. The Kings wanted to trade the #5 and #10 for the #3 pick but were turned down. So, now we're supposed to believe they turned down a trade for #2??? |

MJ: Hey buddy, heard you wanted to move your 5th & 10th pick.
VD: Hey Magic, we were thinking about it
MJ: Vladeeeeyyyy babyyy, i want to offer you the #2 overall pick for Thursday's draft for your 5th and 10th picks.
VD: Magic, I think you are a crazy.
MJ: Why Vlade baby, you get the #2 pick and can draft Tatum, Fox, Jackson,
VD: No I think youre crazy for trying to trade your #2 pick. What are you doing ? Trying to build a team or destroy it ?
MJ: But Vla....* CLICK* |
