So, there is an end game the FO is shooting for. I for one, am rooting for them to get there. This was a tough trade but if in the end, we have Ball, and PG13 with Ingram, Randle and Lopez, we are going to be a better team.
Bottom line is, DLO was a good offensive player who could NOT play defense and could NOT be a great leader on this team.
The reason we could not sign FA's before was due to Jim. His leadership led to our team being blacklisted. Nobody wanted to play for him. Period. You all have to come to grips with that first. The players like Magic and respect him, despite your assertions. All your negativity is actually hurting this team, simply because others may start believing you all. All your negative takes need to go away, give this FO a chance and give them some support. Don't you want them to succeed??? I think some of you don't.
We sucked, the FO is trying to fix it. It's not gonna be easy. |

So? The Lakers are the 3rd worst team in the league right now with all of the "talent" on the roster. They have been bottom 5 for 4 straight years... let that sink in....
Agreed, those 3 don't get you in the playoffs this year, but there is value both talent and contract-wise there. Gotta start somewhere, cause right now, the Lakers are nowhere. |
