2 more cost controlled years after this too...and at the 27th pick. Noice.

We’re using our dirt cheep draft picks to fill in the rotation.

Kuzma, Hart, Svi, and hopefully Moe and someday Bonga come around.

What's crazy to me is that Kuzma is averaging now the same assists/game as Brandon Ingram who has been playing as a secondary point guard/forward for much of the season.

May not be long before he surpasses Ingram in dishes per game. Awesome development in Kuzma's game.

And some people are still upset the Lakers traded Di'Angelo Russell to the Nets. We got Kuzma in that trade (pick 27). I'll take that every day of the week

People are generally upset about who we traded not what we traded for.

Exactly, we won the trade just based on the fact that we unloaded Mozgov and got Brooks expiring contract. Kuz was just the icing on the cake, now he’s proving to be much more than that excellent work by Rob and Magic

I really don't see the Klay comp at all

the amount of time he needs the ball to score and shooting ability. There are some differences in how they put the ball in the basket, but neither needs the ball very long to be effective scorers. Get the ball, attack, bucket. Ball, shoot. Ball, nothing there, pass, and cut. Both move effectively without the basket. both can attack closeouts and make the right reads. kuz pounds it a bit more, but when he is at his best, he takes some of the fewest dribbles in the league and needs the ball only for a few moments before scoring. Klay's the only other guy i see that effective and voluminous of a scorer without actually needing the ball a whole lot.

This really becomes something if next year we are picking up a max or near max free agent, and need to fill the roster with cheap players, who exceed their contracts value.

I see this much more than the Klay comp. I hope he keeps the defense up.

Struggled a little defensively tonight but dude is helping Lebron a lot and rising to the 2nd option challenge.

Keep it up Kuz.

We could’ve stuck BI on Winslow but Kuzma has been fantastic, he truly has made the jump.

This is what I was excited about to start the season. Kuz as our secondary scorer. He displayed legit scoring outburst potential last season. It's been great to see him find his spots lately.
