I thought in the 4th when we fell behind a couple points that it was gonna get away from us. Kuz had some insanely huge shots to keep us in it and even get us the lead.
That midrange pullup was positively Kobesque.
And that buzzer beater attempt was actually really solid of an attempt given the degree of difficulty.
Good stuff Kuz. |

Big time game Kuz! The 3 pointer is back! I thought that game winner was going in.
Tonight: 36 minutes, 32 points (11-20) 7 three pointers, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

We would really fall apart without having a scorer like Kuzma, just his ability to get off shots is big time sometimes. _________________ “Life is too short. You have to keep it moving.” - Kobe |

A 3rd yr Kuz, a 4th yr BI and a 3rd yr Lonzo as a 3rd/4th/5th option... oh my, get that dang 2nd max! |

I think you have to live with a few bad shots from him per game.. Players like him play 150MPH on offense, trying to get them to modulate changes who they are fundamentally.
Westbrook and Kobe were like that. |

Kuz had a real nice double to shut down a layup...that's the progress I'm looking for |

I don't think many people realize this enough. Dude's an elite scorer and he's putting up big numbers with his number barely getting called and without the coaching staff actually maximizing his talent. He would easily already be a 20+ppg scorer under any other coach.
BTW the only games we won after the Lebron injury were games where Kuz played the whole game. |

Yep I think we're like 5-4 without Bron but with Kuz and 0-2 without both (and Rondo) |

If Kuz develops an elite handle he’ll be one of the better offensive players in the league. He’s just too clever around the basket, his speed and first step are decent... his 3 point shooting will only improve... he’s an elite handle away from averaging 25 ppt a game. |

IMO the consistency will come in due time. |
Luke should bench him, start Svi and let Kuzma be the chucker off the bench that he so badly wants to be. |

There is a reason there are Kuz chants in every arena in America.
He is already very good and I like his confidence. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |
