What redemption for Kuz to go from getting benched off that dumb 3 on 1 fastbreak... to being one of the heroes of the game.
Luke benched him for a bad play?
Yes he did. It was a 3 on 1 fast break and he didn't pass the ball. Luke took him out. I think it was around 4 min left in 2nd qtr. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
I just watched a post game interview and he said he has been watching film of his rookie season where he shot 37% from 3. He also said he has been watching film of this season on the 3 pointers he has made. Keep watching film Kuz! _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
Remember that nice dish to Zubac in the 4th with about 3 minutes to go? In looking at it again, I think he was actually trying to pass it to Hart in the corner and Ferg's hand or elbow tipped it right into Zu's hands lol
I was thinking, wait, Kuz saw that play develop? That's impressive.

Finally. I just about jumped out of my seat in joy when I saw Wagner get up after that idiot play because Luke was finally holding him accountable. Kuzma was great in the second half; only complaint was him not giving the ball back to Ball for a wide open look at the end of regulation.
One move that I wish Kuz would unlearn is this one which he found some success with late last season
He's probably averaging 1 offensive foul per game doing this move this year. He needs to go back to his euro step and spin moves rather than going to this habit of barreling through defenders.

He’s taken over for Randle at getting that offensive foul every game.

Wow I thought that was just Kuz showing flashes of elite vision Luckily Zu's hands were Jerry Rice-esque tonight
I really hope this is a breakout game for Kuz’s three pointer. It’s been MIA most of the season. If he starts shooting at a 36% or better clip for us from distance, that would be huge.
Big time game Kuz! The 3 pointer is back! I thought that game winner was going in.
Tonight: 36 minutes, 32 points (11-20) 7 three pointers, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.
One of his best games an All Star caliber performance When his 3 ball is falling Kuz is a very special player He's got many moves Love the floater, hook shot that pull up from midrange was sweet I miss those backdoor cuts though. He gets out of control at times forcing shots missing wide open teammates drawing to many offensive fouls, turning the ball over. He's not there yet but getting closer.
Great game! But please Kuz, pass the ball when you’re double and triple teamed. The 3 on 1 break and last shot of regulation were really bad but besides that, he played well. Hopefully gonna get his shot back!
Last night he got his 3% back up to 31%. FG% up to 48.5%. FT% 76%. He just hit 19 points a game and 6 rebounds a game to go with 2.4 assists per game. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

And, his post-Lebron injury 3pt% is higher than his 3pt% pre-Lebron injury which was a multi-page topic a few pages back.
I thought it was worse. Didn't you say he was shooting around 25% post injury? And pre injury 31.3%? _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
