It was a bad inbounds pass by Hart. you don't pass to someone in the corner with 2 defenders near him. That's a recipe for a trap. |

It was a tough pass to handle in the corner. Tucker was all over him. Just unfortunate. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Kuzma is good, but he doesn't make this team a winner. He gives this team a boost, but breaks the offensive some times and it takes away from our flow and rhythm. He thinks he is the star, when he is not. He doesn't change the tides because he can't create his own shot and doesn't play good defensive. If he played good defense I wouldn't have that big of a problem with him breaking the flow of the offense. He is necessary though because of the offensive boost gives the Lakers.
I wouldn't be surprised if he got traded as a package for someone like Anthony Davis though.

I don't think you can blame Kuz on that play, passing it anywhere near that spot on the court with 2 players near you is just a recipe for disaster.
Why wasn't Ingram the one who was inbounding? He's long enough to see over people and should be able to get it into anyone. |

Harden switched to Zubac when Tucker switched to Kuz so we smartly went to Zubac. That’s why Zu ended with 17 even without playing in the 1st half.
We lost this because of 2 lucky shots. First was the Harden bank shot 3 and of course Gordon’s game tying 3. That double technical free throw that Luke gave up and got him ejected ended up hurting us too |

Kuzma has to further improve his scoring ability, especially in more physical environment |

It was a tough/bad pass from Hart and I believe Harden (who was guarding Ingram) defected the ball before it reached Kuzma, changing the trajectory ever so slightly. That's why Kuzma never got a firm handle and juggled the ball.
I like Ingram also, but I think Kuzma is even more "untouchable" than Ingram at this point. Natural scorer with incredibly soft touch, with *length*. |

Tough loss, even though his turnover helped contribute to the L, I liked what he has shown against elite competition. |

Kuzma, Ingram, Ball, Hart are all good.
We need to stop with the player vs player battles.
Keep them all... try to sign Zu and get the second agent.
We are playing even with top teams... without LBJ and Rondo! |

Kuz played a great controlled game. Hard to get going when Tucker is allowed to maul you without any calls. Also not his fault at the end - why pass to the tightest spot in the court. Idiotic out of bounds play calling (offense and defense) by the Lakers coaching staff. |

Kuz needs a PG. He can't create his own shot. BI on the other can create his own shot, he's just too frail to finish which is why I'm higher on him. |

For sure. Zo is diminished without Kuz too. Lakers are 0-2 without Kuz since Lebron got hurt. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

The team as a whole is diminished because we don’t have any point guards left without Zo lol. |

Really though this is why this team is so hard to coach. KCP has been playing well. But he did have a horrible ending to that game. |

That's what I'm saying.. he didn't lock Kuz up.. He was just allowed to foul the (bleep) out of him. |
He was hand checking and pushing with alternate arms, grabbing, and they said good defense. Smh |

I know stats don't have much meaning when the team loses but it's encouraging to see Kuz have two straight great shooting games especially from 3. This was the second game in a row he scored over 30 points. Tonight he played 44 minutes, 32 points (12-19) 4-9 from 3 point line, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Brought the offense early and helped give the Lakers a big lead
Struggled once Tucker guarded him.
Playing center field on defense is going to be something he struggles with though. |

He's a fan favorite and I would miss him but everything you said in this post is true. _________________ https://www.landofbasketball.com/player_comparison/brandon_ingram_vs_tim_thomas.htm

Yep.. he didn't get locked up with good defense. The refs were on some BS that's all it was. |
