Kuz is smart, he's tanking so he doesn't get traded. His value is going down. |

OK all you shot doctors out there: Why is Kuz not hitting 3s at a higher clip? He shoots them easily and confidently, and that's part of the battle. In general, he has good touch. So what is the issue? Is it something that's correctable? I sometimes feel like he's not getting a lot of arc on the shot, so there's a smaller margin for error. But I'm no expert. |

I'm not a shooting expert, but he recently talked about how he's "tried everything" this season. He said he keeps tweaking his shot until he finds something that feels comfortable. I don't think changing your form midseason is ever a good idea. The best shooters have a consistent, repeatable form. We need a shooting coach badly. |

Southern California has about 24 million people and has horrible earthquakes about once a century
New Orleans has about 400,000 and is threatened by hurricanes annually.
This means about 100 times more chance of a natural disaster and 60 times less selection of beautiful women. |

Magic accurately criticized the previous regime for having too many of the same type of players (ie. Clarkson, Russell, and Lou Williams), but he's guilty as well with Kuzma and James. |
he will be an interesting extension case. I think he will fall in the JC range, and not sure the team will be willing to keep him as a backup big at that price.
However, we have 2 more controlled years and he's great at that price given his likely role. |
Kuz will get big money. |
Eh. Define "big."

Kuzma is definitely overrated if you expect anything past 6th man/solid starter in the NBA. |

I've never seen a scouting report or statistical analysis of BI's circulatory system, so it was hard for me to rate it. Perhaps you subscribe to a really detailed site for that. If so, let us know how the other Laker players' circulatory systems rate. |

All opposing announcer talk about the young Lakers not performing after the AD fiasco when it was really only Kuz
Next breath they go on to say what an offensive stud he is...they forget he's the one not performing shooting 18% from 3 over the last ten
Sell high? |

I'm sure at some point Kuzma is going to get paid -- Ball and Ingram get around seven million a year so far, and Kuzma is probably somewhere around $1.5 million this year. Kuzma deserves at least what the 2nd draft picks are making... _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

I fear he’s just not a good shooter. He wasn’t known as a shooter in college but he had a couple hot months his rookie year and made people think he could shoot.
I hope I’m wrong though. |

WTF you talking about? This is a basketball forum, not a medical forum. Our young players have been greatly overrated by our fans. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

BigBoi wrote: | Kuzma has been grossly overrated by fans and national media alike at least the national media only get to see plays like the half court shot he made today and get excited what are the fans excuse? | the fans excuse.....they are casual fans that only see scoring as great. like some of us said. we go over this all the time when talking about players but they never get it. they are stuck on scoring only. which is why i can and will continue to call them casual fans. and there's nothing wrong with being a casual fan. there's nothing wrong with liking kuz. i do. i still believe in his abilities and hard work. and i will say one thing about him. you rarely see a guy TRYING as hard as he has to play better defense and to rebound better and to pass better. he said he would and you can see him trying. now those things are not 2nd nature to him...yet. but they will be if he continues to do those things in practice and during games. Kuz is going to be aight. not worried about kuz at all. but the over hyping of anyone who scores points happens every year. |
