Get some confidence back Kuz, go for the rebounds like you’ve been doing. Good things happen |

One of the more frustrating players to watch in recent years for me. He has talent. He just does not have IQ. Sometimes it looks like he does not have the desire.
I still want to believe in him, think he can put together some major impact games.
We have a lot more expectations from Kuz, but he is still in his 3rd year learning. Hoping he can get hot from 3 in the playoffs. Keep working him Phil Handy! |

Paul Millsap always makes him look bad. But I appreciate his effort. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Actually the last win @ Denver, Kuzma closed out the game, and defended Millsap really well. On both ends, outplayed Millsap.
Kuzma is pure enigma. No one knows what Kuzma will show up and how he will play. Thankfully the Lakers only have a rookie K invested in him, and should keep it that way until he proves otherwise. |

I feel bad for Kuzma - it is hard to judge his play with the line-ups he is forced to play with. Clearly Rondo and Kuzma together aren't a good fit (though I don't know who is a good fit with Rondo unless he is surrounded by 3 HOFs).
He played 16 minutes tonight and 13 were with Rondo I believe. |

Why feel sorry for him? A large amount of his bad play has been from displaying extremely low bbiq much of the time and looking lost on both ends. He has nights he looks great and will look that way with the starters or even the end of the bench scrubs at the end of a blowout win. He simply lacks consistent effort more then anything imo. He has all the talent and natural ability to consistently show up on a nightly basis even when his shot is not falling, we've seen it. The whole being on the court with Rondo thing is grossly overstated. I'm sure Dwight and Caruso would look much better with the starters most nights too but they find ways to still heavily impact the game on both ends.
Since he's been a rookie he has shown moments and even stretches of games where he looks like he might have turned a corner but out of nowhere the ghost of Kuzma returns for an undetermined amount of time. This then repeats over and over and over.
I've come to the reality that this is pretty much the version we are going to get for the time being. He'll look great again sometime soon after the all star break and fall off for a a bit soon after and people will have all the excuses ready.
Saying all that I do agree Rondo is not the best fit with him though, I just strongly disagree that's the main reason he's struggling. |

Not sure what his shooting got to do with Rondo... A lot of guys plays with Rondo and seems to be shooting fine. |

It seems like he is more interested in proving himself individually to get a big contract than he is being a role player for a championship level team. Might be happier putting up big numbers for a scrub team. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Since he is on a relatively small contract, thoughts about making sure his next contract is big could be heavily influencing him. If so, the distraction could become even worse until he actually get the new contract. |

Instead of wondering about how big his next contract will be, Kuz should be wondering how long he will remain in the NBA. |

He is living up to the hype of being selected with the 27th pick after 3 years in college |

Don’t see this at all. He’s a rhythm offensive player that barely takes shots.
It’s more like square peg round hole syndrome. _________________ Clippers are our Daddy. |
