Oh as a Laker fan I agree - that would be great for the team. You think the NBA market will reward him more with an improved handle vs improved shooting? |
Obviously both. But his handles stand out much more as a glaring weakness. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

If I could give Kuzma anybody's skill set it would be Lamar Odom.
In general though, I've been pleased with his performance since his extension. He went from playing to get certain stats for an extension, to just trying to do whatever is necessary for us to win. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

I always believed in Kuz. He played with so much energy and hustle once again. These types of contributions can win us playoff games. |

Another Double-Double 20 points and 10 rebounds. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Seems to be figuring out how to fill in gaps for this team quite effectively. Good on ya Kuz. |

I’d take Antawn Jamison and that’s a very good target for kuz |

It felt like he had 20-25 rebounds today
God, I love this reinvention from him. |

Not since LO have I seen a guy improve so much in his role coming off the bench. He is really rewarding Rob, Jeanie and the Lakers for having faith in him.
The rebounds, just make him a different player. He is now a threat in multiple ways, not just scoring. |

Wolf...he's gone from 'what can we get for him?' to 'he's not available unless it's Bradley Beal' in 27 games.
I don't want to see him or AC in any other uni while our championship window is open. _________________ "If You're Afraid To Fail...Then You're Probably Going To Fail."

I have always been one of Kuzma's biggest critics, but I know when credit is due. He is carving out a new role for himself on this team.
I absolutely love that he is chasing down every damn rebound he can. Sometimes you can see it in the eyes of our bigs when they're surprised that he snatched one from them. You can almost see Harrell or AD looking at him like: "alright then big man, you can have that one".
This team can look lethargic, broken down and old at times with Lebron's age and AD's fragility. If Kuzma can join the ranks of our "energy players" along with Trez, Schro and Caruso, we will always have a nitrus button to hit when we need it. |

Have had love for this kid since his rookie season.
So happy its coming together for him this season.
Absolutely nothing given and everything earned.
Nothing but respect for his grind since the day he entered the league.
For all the praise he's getting now, he's human and he will have subpar games and his haters will undoubtedly come crawling back out of their holes.
Kuz just has to continue to grind and block out the noise.
He's the longest tenured Laker.
HOMEGROWN & the young man continues to prove his worth.
You absolutely love to see it. _________________ Everyting negative - pressure, challenges - is all an opportunity for me to rise.

To be quite honest, I was never a Kuz, Lonzo, Ingram, Hart, Russell, etc, fan. I felt all were overblown by Laker fans. Yes, some of these guys have turned into good serviceable players.
With Kuz, he has always frustrated me. I always felt he was the dumb kid in the locker room. But, I have to say as of late, I have been pleasantly surprised. Last year he had pockets of good games and a few good playoff games but I always felt that was it for him. Never going to be that “3rd star” that stupid people were trying to make him out to be.
For some reason, a switch has gone on in him. He either figured it out and settling with his new contract or Lebron/coaches have helped guide him.
No doubt, last night was the perfect Kuz for this team.
Now if we can get KCP and Schroder to produce more than yesterday, we will be fine. |

Still can’t believe the Pelicans didn’t force the Lakers to include Kuz in the AD trade. Like they were gonna walk away from that deal. lmao |

As always, the question with Kuz is what will he bring consistently. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

OK, this is the third time this season I'm saying this, but this was probably his best game of the season. |
