https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.silverscreenandroll.com/platform/amp/2018/11/1/18053048/la-lakers-brandon-ingram-shooting-guard-luke-walton-kyle-kuzma-stats-quotes-analysis

For all of Luke Waltons crazy platoon/ hockey lineups at least he was flexible

I he tried Kuz at 5 it didn’t work

He was willing to try Brandon Ingram at 2 Guard so he could play with Bron and Kuzma

Walton would try Kuz at 2

You put Kuz at 2 and he will blossom and be a star

When Bron banged up and needs the night up you just slide him back to the 2

Twos and Threes are the interchangeable positions. Kuz is a natural wing player

Fours and Fives you can interchange too

Kuz can’t play 1

And he has already failed as a 5

This is the only solution to Lakers offensive inefficiencies

I gotta say.. Kuzma has come a long way.. dude has turned into a mini-Rodman with his tendency to get rebounds.. he’s also more relaxed this year as opposed to last year.. keep it up Kuz!!

Any way to give him Rodman’s motor. I like Kuz, always have.

Kuzma has frustrated me for a few years now but this year, something changed. He is not camped out at the 3 point line like he used to be. I like him moving without the ball, cutting, rebounding, etc. He is much more versatile now. I hope he keeps it up.

Kuz changed his mindset from wanting to be a big time scorer to a guy who rebounds, defends, and is still able to score. He hustles and really gives it his all out there. Cannot be more pleased at his progress.

That is a very team friendly contract. On switches tonight, he actually stopped Curry a couple times 1:1. Solid D.

The passes today were pretty legit. He’s had a few of those this year to add to the other “intangibles” he’s been getting praise for.

If Kuz can improve his handles I think it would take his game to another level

Incredible how fast his feet and reactions are. Wow...I don't think I've ever seen a player improve so much on that end.

It really is insane.. He looks like an elite rebounder consistently now and is at worst an above average defender while looking elite at times there as well.

His offensive game is so much smarter now as well. I just started to live with the fact that an aggressive Kuz was going to pick up 1-2 charges and a few awful fouls a game but neither of those things happen much at all this entire season. It really shows how much he not only improved his on court game but mentally as well.. A lot of the improvements are pure bbiq improvements that you don't see many guys in the league 3-4+ years make huge improvements in.

And he is doing all of this even without starting. Unlike in the past that he will mostly have a game like this when he is starting

Swear I saw a shuffle pass under basket from Kuz for an open dunk, coulda been a no look

I mean, like everyone else have said, this dude play within the game this season, not pressing at all (can see diff with THT who still press), very few wasted possesion and his defense is elite

who does he remind you of? Pippen?

Curry literally makes everyone look silly. I've never seen anyone guard him 1 on 1 without help, as well as Kuzma did last night. Ever.

Kuz’s has had flashes of this kind of passing. This one still his best pass, rookie season:

The f/t showed me that he's out there thinking at a time when after having done something thousands of times, muscle memory should take over every time.

I don’t recall ever whiffing a FT like that even in the playground

Steph made CP3 and LeBron look silly a few years back.
That Kuz was able to keep up with Steph in that play is maybe a combination of Curry slowing down and Kuz getting much better?

LOL at LG posters who said Kuz peaked a few years ago and even regressed from his rookie season. And for poster who said players don't improve at that age.

Kuz is so confident right now and you can see from his movements that he feels so comfortable and playing within his strengths.

Free Kuz. Why isn't he starting again?

He has become a Danny Green on steroids.

Plays solid defense, hits the 3 and rebounds the (bleep) out of the ball.

He is Dennis Rodman with a 3 ball
