Its like these guys are playing for their next contracts because they know they probably won’t be on the team next year. Luke has to start Kuz or Randle. I dont know why he’s starting Nance. Starting unit looks awful with him. |
Good Lord y'all Kuz stans are starting to sound like those Jeremy Lin stans from a few years ago. This isn't high school ball. Nobody is freezing anybody out on the court. Randle and JC were passing him the ball but he was just missing. He had a off shooting night. It happens you know. |
Nah there is some truth to what he is saying. Early in the game, Randle bullied his way into the lane and drew a foul instead of passing to Kuzma for the open 3. It doesn't matter who was standing in that spot cause Randle would've made that same play which is one of his faults.
We got two players who almost for sure are auditioning for other teams Randle and KCP... which could lead to some hero ball. And Clarkson likes to play a lot of iso ball. We just need Lonzo to play and control the game and tempo. |
You don’t know what you’re talking about. What’s wrong with Julius driving into the lane and drawing the foul (he made both free throws)? Both are the correct plays. Some of y’all reaching Lin levels of fandom with Kuz lol |
Apparently the offense gotta run through Kuz lol. Screw everybody else . They just gotta pass the ball, rebound, and play defense. |
Well... when you have Kob... Kuzma on your team, how many plays do you run without having him touch the ball once? The Lakers need someone to garner attention on offense so that the defense will have to double team. Then you can get into the ball movement. _________________

He's undoubtedly the 3rd option on the floor with Randle and JC. I think he would be too though with the starters, but they would be better looks. More layups, more open J's. |

Recognizing a weakness is the first step toward correcting it. |
VLF,
As our resident Kuzma high buzzkiller, maybe you can help me. I'm wracking my brain trying to remember other instances where he "played down to the level of his competition ". Which games were these? |
Ask him, he was the one who said it. |
I guess I missed that. So he said "I played lousy because I play against lousy players tonight" ? Bold |

What's alarming is that it looks like Kuzma got told to stop being aggressive. Or to 'Slow it down'.
He's out there second guessing his shot instead of shooting it with confidence like he was earlier.
Maybe Luke's comment about how he didn't like Kuzma breaking the offense to score while he made excuses for Ingram did more damage than we thought.
Chalk another one up for Coach Walton. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I almost feel like boycotting the Lakers until they start Kuzma. It's so obvious that he and Lonzo are a great pair. Why not even give them a chance? |

Started off bad. But got more comfy against the 3rd stringers.
I would rather see him in than Deng.
Kcp being out made things worse. |

Good garbage time minutes, not as well when the game was contested. Like other rookies, he needs experience. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

He's getting minutes at the end of games with Lonzo.
Hopefully the whining against Luke calms down |
