15 points but worst +/- on the team with -18. not sure what to make of that. i remember swaggy had like 23 points in the opener but had terrible +/- as well.

Ya, -18. That's weird, hopefully someone looks into that. I think we're clearly better offensively with him at the 4 than Nance or Randle. Love that he got to close the game.

First of all nice game by Ingram tonight. But it seems like Kuzma is more of a vocal leader on the court already, then Ingram that is.

I really like Larry on this team. Randle was the odd man out tonight.

+/- stats aren't a great judge of performance, too many factors to take into account. I thought Kuzma played very well tonight. He's going to need to do a better job though on the glass, but he has big potential offensively.

He was invisible until Lonzo checked in, and then exploded. I think it's pretty clear where he belongs.

Single game +/- is usually useless, with rare exception.

Watch tonight's Backstage Lakers.

There's a scene where Pelinka challenged Kuzma $50 to hit a golf ball off the farthest hole with just 1 try, and Kuzma accepted the challenge and made the hole in 1 shot. Shows how competitive he is and insistence in proving doubters wrong.

Kuzma seems to be the most verbal/engaged guy on the floor.

There was a little moment I loved that a Suns player was posting up Lonzo (can't remember which player) and Lonzo tried to slap the ball away on the entry pass and got called for a foul. Kuzma immediately went over to Ball and walked him through what he should've done instead using his body language.

I forget, did we get Kuzma from the Brooklyn trade? If not, who did we draft with the pick we got from Brooklyn?

We got the 27th pick from the Mozgov trade and used it to draft Kuzma. We also had the 28th pick right after that, which we immediately afterwards flipped into 30 and 42 to draft Josh Hart and T. Bryant

THIS

It's been clear from the jump that those two are special together because their skills complement each other so well. Ball is a great rebounder and likes to run. Kuzma is a gazelle, and runs not only fast, but hard.

Ball, when he gets space off of a solid screen (we're going to love Bogut for those) is real trouble for the defense, and Kuzma's specialty is making teams pay for giving Ball that room when he's burying that sweet jumper.

Wait til they have a year together.

Cosigning with those that I'm glad that he dumped that headband. He was phenomenal without it. He needs to keep the same energy channel open, and that damn thing didn't help.
