Last year, Luke wants him to play small forward, so he trained with Kobe. You can tell Kuz looks smaller than last year with all the new diet stuffs.

And now, Luke wants to play small ball. Defense was Kuz biggest weakness last year. Playing at center will make him looking like a fool.

I think you're the only person who thinks Kuzma looks smaller.

Maybe he's confusing lean/cut with "smaller."

B/c Kuz packed on some upper body mass.

Nope. He looks smaller to me too. Look at his face. Now, that is possibly just baby fat he's dropped but he doesn't look leaner to me and not bulkier like Lonzo does.

Haircuts have a big effect on how round your face looks . You can just look at his bod in my post on the last page and see more ‘fat’ this year

I agree. He looks like he's dropped some weight. This is strange, because he looked like he gained some weight from the pictures I had seen of him in summer. Then again, he probably took those pictures right after a weightlifting session.

It's only been one game. Here's to hoping he improves.

Kuzma is a momentum killer. Doesn’t matter which young laker goes on a streak, Kuzma always has to get in and fire off a couple shots. He’s also starting to play outside of himself. I get he’s goin against guys bigger than himself on D, but let’s get real here.... Kuz isn’t really doing that heavy of battling on D and the boards. His offensive game should shine against guys that much slower than him.

He's also the team's best off-ball cutter and one of their only viable shooters off screens, so they live with his occasional tunnel vision.

Kuz would do better experimenting at the 2 than what he has shown at the 5. Luke is on some heavy drugs thinking that would work.

Who can we package Kuz up with to get a big? (Or Ingram).

Ingram, Kuzma + 2019 1st to the Bulls for Wendell Carter Jr. Have Hart start at the 3 until we get Leonard or Butler next year.

Kuzma cannot play center I am not sure what led them to believe that could work. When they let Randle go I was sure they would bring in someone to re-enforce the front court. Team needs a 4/5 and Kuz is a 3/4. He is just not that guy.

Can the Lakers at least get Chandler Hutchinson back?

Catching some Pels highlights and it would be awesome if Kuz could get to Mirotic's current level in the next couple years - not just the scoring punch, but the nasty, crafty defense, too.

Let's also offer Josh Hart + Lonzo + 2021 1st for D'Aaron Fox.
