He's definitely a better three point shooter than he's shown so far this year. He's been super streaky this year. But hard to complain given how much he's crushed expectations so far in his career.
Kuzma's Last 7 Games: 25.3 points (48.9% fg, 35.2% 3p, 72.3% ft), 6.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.9 steals, 3.1 turnovers in 35 minutes |
Those are some solid numbers. He has carried the load offensively. His 3 point shot has gone up over 4% in the last 7 games. | those numbers will drop with Zo out and with Bron out. Luckily, one is soon to return. |
I agree the numbers should go down but with Rondo coming back it may not be too bad. | Lol. Forgot about Rondo, he'll most definitely help. _________________ Music is my medicine |

I like Kuz but yo he is complete dog (bleep) on defense. He's improved from last year but boy he still has a looooooong way to go. |

Bus defense is terrible. When we get some bodies back, we could hide it, but until then, you could see how bad his defense is. At some points I don't even think he tries. |

I thought he did a decent job on Klay to start the game. But yes, he's never going to be a great defender. But he has shown he can be serviceable on the perimeter. He's awful guarding 4/5s inside. |

Why was he guarding Klay exactly? I could only bare enough to keep this one on in the background. |

I thought the players have the power to choose who they guard and should do so to show they’re not scared and that they want it.
Coaches don’t make those decisions. We gotta stop blaming the coach |

so should we blame Ingram for hiding against paul george, Harden and others?
other then 4:42mins and OT of the OKC game? |

Nope we shouldn’t. And we shouldn’t blame Kuz for his D on Klay because it’s. Abad matchup and Luke shouldn’t have had him guard Klay.
For most part coaches choose the matchups.

I could deal with some of Kuzmas short comings if he showed any kind of on court accountability. You hear it from him in the media, but when he’s on the court it’s a whole bother story.
Prime example was his piss poor pass to Lance last game that was picked off by Curry. As soon as Curry picks it off he stares at Lance with a look of “why didn’t you move to me? With his hands up in the what the hell gesture “. That was a dumb pass with Zu standing right in front of him and closer. He clearly made a jump pass and got caught in the air. Don’t blame lance.
He also refuses to get back on D when he doesn’t get a foul call. |

We had no problem getting on Brandon for having to guard guys he had no business like McCollum. I guess we shall give yet another pass. |

A guy who’s on ball defense keeps him on the court is gonna be held to a different standard than a guy who is known for struggling on D but is our clear cut 2nd best offensive player. |

Kuzma definitely is not a rotational player without Lebron or Lonzo aren’t on the court...he’s completely invisible and does nothing when he’s not chucking. |

Way to show up dude.
Wasn't aggressive. Didn't defend. Couldn't grab rebounds.

His inability to box out anybody today contributed heavily to us losing this game. Needs to get better and stop worrying about his offense _________________ He's my GOAT |
