Surprising how few Laker rookie have reached these #s. Maybe we’ve been so great for so long that we don’t give alot of playing time to rookies. Plus alot of Laker greats didnt play their rookie yrs w/ the Lakers |

Might be explainable:
1. Till recently, Lakers weren't drafting high very often (not that Kuz was a high draft pick, but he played like one)
2. Till recently, Lakers rosters were decent where rookies didn't have to play, let alone play 82 games.

don't they kind of always....its hard to recall a returning young player that we have had in recent years that there has not been a post about them putting on muscle in the offseason attached to a picture.
It's not just us....every team does this annually. Check out some of the Magic media/boards....they are losing their minds because word is Jon Isaac put on some muscle this summer. |

Surprising how Kawhi Leonard couldn't even surpass those points and rebounds total until his 4th season.

| I have a very hard time believing Magic will move Kuzma, even for Kawhi. There's a psychological connection to him being Magic's guy when they fell in love with him at last years combine, and everything he's shown us so far. The fact that he could be in the all star conversation while making less than 5m a year isn't something you let go of easily. |

hard light from overhead. Perfect conditions for highlighting musculature. If you smooth out the highlights, I bet he'd look pretty much identical to end of the season. It's ok, this has become tradition every summer. |

In that photo his chest and arms looked a little bigger. GT saw Kuz at the training facility last week and he said he was noticeably bigger.
