Hart reminds me of Raja Bell.... the good parts of his game. Defensively he has been solid and it is his offense that has been streaky. The offense has started to come around though. Laker FO should get credit for finding gems late in the draft. Clarkson, Nance, Kuzma & Hart all late 1st round and 2nd round picks.

Josh rose to the challenge and played hard-nosed defense last night.

Looking forward to seeing Hart guard Tim Hardaway Jr on Sunday. He was like a bulldog on defense against Dipo in the 4th quarter.

Highly unlikely that we trade him just to dump his salary. He only makes twice as much as a minimum salary cap hold. He's not a problem.

We wouldn't be dumping his salary, we'd be including him in another deal to dump salary (Deng) as sweetener.

Equally as dumb

Yes!
You can't win championships without Kobe and Shaq. But you can't win championships without Fox and Shaw.

Nance and Hart are two guys I want the Lakers to keep for 10+ years

Hart plays with heart..

He can do 85% of what KCP does at a cost of 80% lower..

I'd keep him...

That logic is bugging me a bit.
The logic is saying you can't win without stars and you can't win without role players, which is TRUE. But that's like saying, you can't win without 5 players on the court.

The thing is that role players are much easier to replace than stars. You can replace a Rick Fox with a Trevor Ariza, or a Brian Shaw with a Derek Fisher. But rarely will you be able to replace a Shaq or Kobe.

I love Nance and Hart, and I wish the Lakers keep them for years. But they shouldn't be the players that holds back improving the team by keeping them at all cost. I know you're not saying that in your post, but that's the sentiment I was getting the past page or so.

Didn't say that's what I wanted to happen, but something I fear happening.

Hart never smiles while on the court. He argues defensive fouls like he was a veteran. I wonder if he's thinking, "I finally made the NBA, ain't no way I'm going back!" So much maturity for a Rookie.

Strong layups, defense, and 3s. Hart is an easy guy to like.

Would like to see a Lonzo, Hart, Ingram, Kuz and Randle lineup once we're fully healthy.

Was it Kobe who said, if you keep fouling, the refs wont call all of them?

Still a lot of dumb fouls but it's to be expected from a rookie. Love him too...

The whole team is just full of scrappers and mentally advanced players like Hitman. Love his game.
