Just for giggles.

Fisher career 45.7% at the rim.

I'm really grateful that I no longer have to watch Fisher start for the Lakers. Take away his handful of clutch plays and the 01 playoffs, and he was just as bad to watch on a nightly basis as the likes of Smush and Kwame.

DFish's great strength was that he was an elite opportunist. He knew as long as he massaged Phil and Kobe's egos and worked on his open 3s he'd have a long career in the NBA and make a lot of money.

I was scanning through this thread and was just about to post that it feels to me like he is a plus finisher at the rim.

69% is really impressive for a backcourt player.

It's one thing to be clutch,

but Fisher was never this skilled.

The fisher comparison is disrespectful. Josh has better handles better defense better rebounding and he's a better scorer. I don't get the comparison

Don't forget he can finish Layups unlike Fish.

Opposite sides of the spectrum

Josh is one of the most steady, and aesthetic finishers I've seen at his size. Fisher is the worst bar none.

The only similarities to me seems to be their physical strength and their toughness. Josh has superior physical tools and talent compared to Fish. I hope we'll see that he is clutch like Fish when we get back into playoff contention.

He's better than Fish but people are seriously forgetful of the positive impact Fisher brought to the team. He was a bad finisher but he brought a level of toughness, swagger and hustle that is similar to Josh. The similarity is in the intangibles.

That’s very oddly specific.

Toughness, clutch play and intangibles are the entire reason Hart reminds some of us of Fisher. And that's a huge compliment to Hart. Particularly in light of the facts that Hart has more height, length, better handles, shooting percentage, athleticism and far more finishing ability. He would do well to match Fisher's 90% free throw efficiency.

Most of all though - if Hart could develop anywhere close to Fisher's leadership skills, that's what would elevate him to a very solid rotation quality on a dynasty team. Those leadership skills are where Fisher shines in this comparison, no way to assess Hart yet in that regard.

So if Hart were to do that but in a game 1-2/4-7, against any other team of the finals, it wouldn’t be as good?

That’s like saying let me know when Ingram makes 6 consecutive 3s in a game 6 WCF against the Wolves in order to be better than Kareem Rush.

no, just alluding to how good a player he actually was in response to claims that a 50 game rookie is better than him.
