The kid has been solid. Sucks for him and the team. More minutes for Zo, IT and KCP. 32 minutes each.

Letís not jump the gun yet, I havenít seen any report of him being out for a few weeks rather then a report from Yahoo, he could be back in a few games, I wouldnít be worried yet

With Brewer gone he's our only real backup for Ingram.

I hope that Yahoo report saying he's out is inaccurate.

Left hand injury, correct? We are so screwed these next 2 weeks if he can't play.

I just did some research on this kind of fracture. Worst case scenario it could be 6-8 weeks. Best case scenario 1-3 weeks.

(bleep). We just can't catch a break and have a fully healthy lineup for more than a game or two, huh? This is BS.

Did you just type hand fracture cause a small fracture makes a huge difference.

Yeah but I think this still implies he's out a couple of week. Whether it be rest or surgery.

Just get better, Hitman. The more challenge presented to our team, the more aI watch to see how they overcome the obstacle. Letís see how creative we get on the substitution matchups with the heat. Gotta scarp on the zone and help D, itís doable with the proper on the fly strategy... This is more of a test for Luke and Shaw than anything else... gotta remember, in the playoffs, youíre going to have injured players, itís good practice to be able to use your personnel to overcome those injuries.

Surgery would mean heís out for the season, if itís just rest he could return in 2 weeks

Right. I was just clarifying best case scenario he's still out a couple of weeks

It's going to take some legit creativity when in one day we've gone from 2 to zero backups for Brandon Ingram. Kuzma perhaps, but then who backs up Randle now that Nance is gone too? Deng is what's left. Frye is recovering from an appendectomy. T Bryant for a long shot perhaps, but that's a lot riskier than Deng.

Can the Lakers run a three guard lineup instead of adding Caruso or Ennis back in?

Just interchange a lineup of:

Ball-KCP
IT-Ball
IT-KCP

Ingram needs a backup though.

You can roll with Zo, IT, and KCP with Kuz and Randle/Lopez/Zu, if need be.

I think Hart has played himself into a solid role on this team. I think KCP will not be resigned because of Hart. I am surprised they don't look into trading him now or at least once Lonzo shows his injury will not reignite.

Our guard rotation has KCP and Lonzo starting with IT and Hart off the bench. The other guys are expendable. I think KCP and Hart are interchangeable without skipping a beat. Not sure KCP will be willing to wait out the off-season trades, FA signings and if he will be willing to take less to play here. So I figure he will go elsewhere and Hart will become our starter. Not worried about it, Hart will be a great player for years to come. IT not bad off the bench, but doubt he will be happy with that role.

Hart is a perfect fit for this team, 3 and D, and one who can drive too! Really think his game is about a perfect fit for this team.

I think perhaps we move Kuze into a solid guard rotation and even let BI hand PG duties some of the time. Not a traditional lineup but seems to be the way the NBA is moving. I really liked the way BI handled the point after he quit trying to run plays and just starting reading the D's and looking for the open man.
