One year contract players essentially have no trade clauses, so they ain't leaving unless they want to. |
wouldnt matter if the team trading for them has no interest in resigning them and just wants the free cap space. It would be in their best interest to do all they can to show their value so they get a better contract the following year _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

As things stand this is our most dynamic line up on the offensive side im sure. Unless Lonzo comes back with a three pointer or driving capabilities, his playmaking I think wont really be needed. |
The most dynamic offensive lineup has a center that can only convert lobs and can't hit free throws? |
As things stand, I believe so. Attacking ability at the 3 levels - 4/5, Mcgee diving hard off PnRs and his rim running are going to be valuable. Like you say though, its always better when the action of the pick man is unpredictable.
I like that we can get the defense scrambling in a variety of ways with this line up. |

Just run
Lonzo/Rondo
KCP/Josh
BI/Josh/Kuz
LeBron/Kuz
Javale/LeBron/Moe |
I would put Svi as back up SF!!
This is assuming we run Ingram Kuzma & LeBron in the same lineup at times. Fair assumption??

But he was doing this against NBA competition at the end of last year. He's really legit.
Btw, I know your being sarcastic. |

LeBron is a penetrator, just like Hart, Ingram, and Kuzma. Even before considering the other pieces on the floor with them, it's going to be a significant problem for defenses to stop all of them because each of them are good shooters.
The pg's and other shooters, cutters, and dunkers around them are going to make this team hard to stop. LeBron saw what we saw and knew he was walking into a gold mine of talent. |

Josh Hart, Ingram, and Kuzma are gonna have so many open looks and lanes to the basket from the attention LeBron pulls to him it's not even gonna be funny.
Dare I say that LeBron will probably be able to coast the majority of the season because he won't be required to do *all* of the ball handling.
Pelinka and Magic have done a tremendous job building this team. People keep talking about the whole shooting thing but I think they actually have great shooters in Kuzma, Hart, KCP, Svi, Ingram and even Wagner.
Not only that but that have playmakers ALL over the place.
LeBron's workload isn't going to be as heavy as it's been in previous years and that was all due (it worked, though) to the teams being filled with specialists who couldn't do much else than shoot with the exception of maybe Kyrie. |

They'll have trusted offensive contributions at every position except center, and with the strengths at the other spots, the center's offensive contributions should be gravy, like on Michael's '90's Bulls teams. Overall, if they avoid significant injuries, I expect to see a well oiled machine. |

There are still a ton of NBA fans, mostly of other teams, who seem to think LeBron James has nobody here to help him win a title. All that means is they haven't been paying attention. |

A lot of Lakers fans believe that this team as is, can't win a title. I'm not one of them. |

I'M with you on this ,The depth we have on the wing is going to cause teams all kind of trouble. The lakers can throw so many different combinations at people now it's going to be hard for top heavy teams to stay fresh and compete for periods of time especially when we push the pace. |

The Cavs were loaded with one-dimensional players. LeBron had to cook the meal, set the table, cut their steak and spoon feed them. This Lakers team is loaded with multi-dimensional impact players. He won't be required to do anywhere near as much. Be the leading scorer and decision-maker in crunch time and this team is a 3 seed at worst. What I'm thrilled about is there's going to be an elite decision-maker on the court for 48 minutes a game. |

I think by the end of the year, Hart is going to take KCP's spot in the starting lineup. They'll both get a good amount of minutes, though. We're going to need all the 3 pt shooting that they can give. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

The Lakers have the best young core in the NBA one possibly two of them could have breakout seasons this year and the bench is really deep its gonna be fun! |
