Perhaps I'm overstating his defense, but to me that alone warrants more PT.

Thatís not an overstatement at all. Iíve seen enough of him in college to add that his current jumpshot percentages are not at all indicative of his actual shooting ability.

Heís a much better shooter than heís shown, although many here would probably call that the overstatement.

Seems to be a common theme with Laker players.

Well, I don't disagree. I mean, the guy has never received more than 4 field goal attempts in any NBA regular season game. Pretty hard to get going as a guard when that's all you get.

And he's 1-14 in his last several games but still shooting a better percentage than Lonzo on the season. Haha. Cut the kid some slack Luke!

He's averaging 13.5 MPG.
How much more do you guys want him to play.
And over who?

He played one time in the past 6-7 games. I think 10-13 MPG is fine. Just not in one game. But every game.

If Hart is getting more minutes, it should be at Brewer's expense. Hart is big enough to play SF.

Brewer really should not be playing. It's that damn streak he has going for most consecutive games played.

Brewer is a disruptor and has been playing well last few games.

Brewer is playing well but we are not resigning him next year. If the FO is going to invest in Hart, which I don't care one way or the other, then Brewer has to go. If they don't care and want to get more wins, then Brewer will play.

Why does he have to retract it?
It's a shame he got hurt in summer league.
Maybe he could have shown the goods you're speaking about.
Makes me wonder if he plays differently in practice or the g league

He's definitely more aggressive as a scorer in the G League.

Since day 1 in Summer League he had some really bad misses from 3.. those concerned me and he's still missing badly. Also in his pro-day vid he said he didn't shoot so well..
never was confident he could shoot , but he's a rookie and a lot of them shoot poorly..

He's become a black hole. Just awful offensively. Don't know what it is either. He used to be able to attack the basket.

How's the strike though?
I think he just needs time and confidence

DX at 4:30 had questions about his shooting, including the hitch in his stroke at the top. I think he's taken that out (not sure though), but there's still an outward release and his off-arm is super stiff. The stroke looks decent but the misses are as bad as it gets, and they have been since Summer League

Pro day workout. He states that he has changed his shot since the end of the college season. Form looks better. Just needs repetition.

There are many players in the NBA who go from #1 option in college to role player in the NBA. We don't know if Josh Hart is capable of being a 15-20 PPG scorer. It's unlikely he is. If true, it means he'll have to adapt and be able to hit shots without getting into the scoring rythym the way he was able to at Villanova. It's a whole new skill to learn how to score without the ball in your hands.

Hart is REALLY good at multiple jumps to contest jump shooters. It's rare to see that.

Great minutes from Hart tonight. Played some tough defense and scrapped for rebounds/scores
