TB will play plenty in the G-League in order to hone his skills.

Hopefully he will be everything Upshaw was NOT.

He does look like he is good at sideline cheering, but that is the only thing I think they have in common. Sacre had about a 3 inch vert and the T-Rex reach of a shooting guard.

TB has approximately 3000 times better physical attributes.

I should be doing my own weight training. Actually lost some bad weight in Vegas because I drastically cut off soda/sugar altogether. Helped a lot.

Definitely a good move, kudos to you.

I wish I could have made it to Vegas for summer league; maybe next year.

If people would understand that just limiting your soda and breads (bread is just sugar when the body gets done processing it) and increasing water intake helps the body a ton....any sugar that your body does not burn off through its natutural metaolism or through exercise (glucose) turns to fat.

I am a diabetic and they teach us about this stuff.

Not exactly. Sugars and carbohydrates are also passed from our bodies in liquid form as urine and sweat, and eliminated in solid form as feces. Our bodies are actually only moderately efficient at capturing, using and storing the foods we feed ourselves.

What you say is true....but not all of it passes. If only our bodies were efficient enough to pass everything that is not used there would be no overweight people.

That is why a colon cleanse every once in a while also helps with maintaining a good body fat percentage

Crazy to think that he played two years of college, but was only 19 when they drafted him.

Well, that other guy was pretty right. Those carbs and sugars you eat turn into glycogen which your body will use as energy. Eat too many and you reach a surplus and ur liver turns those carbs/sugars into triglycerides that will become adipose tissue. You're right about stuff leaving your body through pee, feces, and sweat etc, but it's the waste product of burning fat, vast majority of it gets exhaled as carbon dioxide.. if you're peeing out sugars though, that's a sign of diabetes. Actually that's how I've heard we used to test for diabetes, just taste the urine to see if it's on the sweet side lol.

I like how comfortable he is being interviewed. To me that's one of the qualities of an NBA ready player. Not because he's good in an interview, but it shows he's got confidence in his qualifications to be there.

In 2 or 3 seasons this kid is going to be a decent NBA player if we are patient

I don't think the human race would have gotten this far if our bodies were that efficient.

Thomas has been training with the legendary Bill Bertka!
TB will gain a wealth of knowledge from the 90 year old basketball sage. 🏀
He is very passionate about the game.
Said Pelinka envisions him as a stretch 5.
Learning and listening to Magic too.
Fan of animated movies.
Likes country music.
Great kid, articulate and mature.

Agreed, he's a work in progress but with hard work in time he could be a good one.

That sounds great, hopefully he will continue to learn and grow and living in LA should help with his affinity for country music...!

BI, Zubac and Bryant are all guys that are still growing and will really benefit from regimented training. Give Bryant another year and he will be a totally different player provided he is a worker.

I love that the guy can run already.
Has a standing reach that is top 10 in NBA
Making of a really good 3 point shot
Can mix it up down low

It may take 2 years for him to get his body in great scary shape but he has the makings of a really good player when he does.

Also he is a great speaker when being interviewed very comfortable and articulate for a 20 year old kid.
