Wonder if Bryant could play the 4 in the league. If he is capable of playing the 4 and Kuzma is capable of playing the 2 and the 3... _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

He could but not well. 4's have more and more guard skills these days. Big Mamba can hit from distance, but IMO he is limited on offense for a 4. It's cool, stretch 5 with rim protection is a good look for him. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss

Was just about to see if there was an update on him...I think we could really use his defense and shooting.
dude is glacial
I'll pass
That's a misconception. He's brings a lot of energy with his game. In fact I'd go so far as to say he moves too quick at times. What he needs to work on is control but that's a maturity thing.
No, it’s not.
He can get north/south quickly enough, but he has absolutely no lateral agility and no ability to change direction quickly. He really needs to fix his gait before he has a future in the NBA. He continually got exposed on help defense and switches all of Summer league (and in college).
That said, he can shoot, he hustles, he has NBA strength, good defensive instincts, and he has ridiculous length. So if he can get it fixed he can definitely be a really solid player. It’s just that the way he moves is such a limiting factor right now.
But describing him as "glacial" implies he is immobile, which is false. I agree, he needs to improve his lateral movement, but I believe that's totally doable and given his work ethic, I have no doubt he will. _________________ Not a legend
Zubac is better than him right now, and probably for a while. But Bryant has a solid upside he's about 3-4 years away from. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Start Kuzma in place of injured Nance and use Bryant in the Kuzma off the bench role until Nance returns. He's all hustle and seems to have a nose for the ball. Bryant helps with those 50/50 situations like Nance

He has potential; a couple of minutes per game would really help him grow but he is not ready for a heavy workload.
In the first South Bay Lakers game of the season Thomas Bryant had
22 points on 10-14, 1-3 from 3
8 rebounds
2 steals
3 blocks
His second block won the game for the Lakers in OT.
Awesome start for him. If he continues that for a couple of more games, I could see him getting called up for a couple of minutes or so from the bench. His height, length and potential scoring ability is there. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif

Man he was soooooooooooooooooooo slow on the PnR during preseason. Maybe he should redshirt this season. Knowing our scouting corps, he'll turn out to be the next Jokic next season

He was but that's why I only mean if he can keep that up. Larry Nance is out after all, and Bogut is trash even for garbage time. Brewer also looking like he's checking out of the NBA after this season. It wouldn't be a terrible idea to see how he's been training since early preseason if he keeps this up in the G League.
Frankly, I think Vegas competition is better than G-League. At least the guys get to face a few lottery picks and several 1st rounders there. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
