Coach 'em up Mike!

I should be doing my own weight training. Actually lost some bad weight in Vegas because I drastically cut off soda/sugar altogether. Helped a lot.

Definitely a good move, kudos to you.

I wish I could have made it to Vegas for summer league; maybe next year.

^Tradition. Even if the Lakers don't have picks, I'm already in just to watch Bryant, Kuzma, Hart, and possibly Ball for 2nd year development + potential roster pick ups.

I would also like to see Bryant in more pick and pop situations. He can clearly stretch the floor as well.

He does need to work on his hands, I'm in total agreement there.

Agreed, he can be effective in PnP because he has a sweet stroke, good range from deep and he's not afraid to take that shot.

He's shown, in flashes, that he is willing and able.

If people would understand that just limiting your soda and breads (bread is just sugar when the body gets done processing it) and increasing water intake helps the body a ton....any sugar that your body does not burn off through its natutural metaolism or through exercise (glucose) turns to fat.

I am a diabetic and they teach us about this stuff.

Another excellent late pick by the team. He's Tarrick Black with a jump shot and 6 million less in salary.

Tarik was good at moving his feet defensively and covering the P/R, Bryant is worse than Zubac... It's weird becuase you see his feet move quickly sometimes , but it doesn't matter when he tries to move laterally, becuase his hips are so tight and heavy.. He's got the lateral mobility of like, Bynum (and not rookie Bynum)
There's hope he can fix the hip/core issue though, so I've heard - Myles Turner improved it

I think this dude is going to be a beast with a year or two on NBA conditioning and PT in the G league. He can be starting for us in 2 years.

Def not gonna talk crap on Black who gave us everything he had and gave us great minutes at times.

I think Bryant's ceiling his either because his physical attributes are higher......his ability to turn into a rim protector AND the ability to shoot threes especially on a low contract is a real plus for this team.

I do really respect Tarik as well, he was one of the only guys who actually cared about playing D over the dark ages that were the Lakers of the past 3 seasons. But Big Mamba not only has a lot longer reach than Tarik, he also has a jumper.

He has a much higher upside. I hope that our trainers can work with his hips and his gait to unlock the Big Mamba's potential!

I see two second-rounders (Kadeem Allen and Monte Morris) signed two-way deals. I thought somebody said second round picks can't sign two-way deals?

They can if their draft rights are waived first

NICE. Perfect kind of prospect to try to develop long-term as a stretch 5. Hope the kid grows into a long-term contributor.
