OP I need the word "OFFICIAL" in front of TB's name on this thread since he just signed on the dotted line. |

Sorry, not sure how to modify a thread topic title... hopefully a mod can take care of it? |

This is good to hear that Bryant is now locked up for up to 2 years. If he pans out, he could fit in well as a "modern" nba center. |

He's going to motor his way into that 2nd year. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Love the guy's energy and enthusiasm when he's on the floor. |

I love all these contracts with 2nd year team option giving the players a chance to prove themselves for a long term deal. I love it when guys are playing for the next big contract. Thomas is the energy hustle guy that's gonna sprint up and down the floor which would be awesome for Lonzo. Now he just needs to work on catching the ball. It seems Bryant and Zubac suffer from the same butter finger syndrome. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend! |

Lakers can opt out Bryant next year, make him restricted, agree to terms w/him, rescind/renounce him to max their space, then re-sign |

I have wondered if he was who they had in mind with the pick. I was sort of guessing they were thinking Hart or White at 30, expecting one of the two would be there. Was hoping for Ojeleye or Bell @ 42 when we made the deal. Was happy with Bryant though. High upside choice and has a great energy. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

Still needs to adjust to Lonzos crisp passes, I think we will see a better Zu during the regular season, he will have 2 months to train with Ball. |

Yeah, I'd prefer they do this. He's so young and needs work, it would be nice to lock him in longer at the minimum. |

Idk. As summer league went on I kind of scaled back my excitement on him. Both him and Zubac were very much 'meh' to me.
But, they're young.. and definitely show potential.
I see Thomas Bryant getting a ton of minutes down in the G-League though.. |

I Hated the Dlo trade, but every move since has looked great, and that is alleviating my worries about the Dlo trade, if that makes any sense. If they're making move after move that seems solid, then it makes me think the Dlo trade might have been solid too. |

If he can fulfill his potential he will be a great modern day role playing center, he had some really nice moments in SL |

We've got a 'Bryant' jersey in the locker room again!
Good luck to TMamba. Hope he acclimates and puts that motor to good use. |
