Playing himself into a very nice trade chip, especially with that 3P%. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night.
Thomas Bryant of the @SouthBayLakers has a play type style most closely resembling these NBA players:
1. Myles Turner
2. Domantas Sabonis
3. Nikola Vucevic
4. Nikola Jokic
5. Robin Lopez
6. Derrick Favors
7. Meyers Leonard
8. Dwight Powell
9. Jason Smith
10. Thaddeus Young
Does it happen often where good D-League 3 point shooting doesn't translate to the NBA? We could really use some shooters and his ability to stretch the floor would be great. His defense seems to be a weak point though because he can't move his feet too well

I think Anthony Brown shot the 3 pretty well in the D league. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss
Thomas Bryant runs the floor, hits 3-pointers and plays above the rim.
In short, the 20-year-old following the blueprint of a modern center.
He flashed all three of those skills in the South Bay Lakers’ 119-113 loss to Westchester on Friday, racking up 32 points and 10 rebounds.
The Knicks couldn’t keep Bryant out of the paint, as he threw down five dunks — including an and-1 slam and monster alley-oop — while mixing in a layup and hook shot.
I was a fan of his coming out, I hope he gets a shot on the team before the end of the year. The guy’s measurables are absolutely absurd, and his shot looks like it’s translated really nicely.

He has to be in the G-League MVP conversation, rookie of the year and a lock for the all-star game. He's been really impressive and he's a leader on the #1 team in the league.
His shot is legit!
TB is averaging 24.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.1 triples and 1.8 blocks, while shooting 60.1 percent from the field and 45.9 percent on 3-pointers.
TB is balling in the G league. He needs to work on his defense but that is to be expected for a rookie center. It looks like another steal for the Lakers in this years draft. I think he has starter potential. In 12 games the kid is shooting 46% from 3! _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
I love this guy's attitude. Goes down to the G-League with his head up and makes the most of the opportunity. Ultimate team player and positive attitude. This team needs guys like TB and Nance who bring it and always put the team first. Hopefully he can become our Capela.
The point may be to develop him to man the C spot, post Lopez; they're
probably taking their time with the kid... _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team !
