You get 450 for writing your name correctly. This explains everything...boneheaded plays, not being able to understand the triangle...etc.

I believe you get 200 for writing your name.

The scale, at least when I took it, was 200-800 for each section.

Either way, 650 is just... wow.
That must be at least 2 standard deviations below average.

Do you have a link to prove this?

Ditto. I got a 1440 split dead-even both ways.

Maybe that's why I still don't know what I should do with myself

Take it for what its worth, but I believe it with all my heart. haha

Rashidi’s claim to fame - Odom went to high school about 10
blocks from his house. How did I come to know about Lamar Odom? Back
in the day, my friends and I were talking about what NBA players we’d
met. One of my friends said he met Anthony Mason at a sneaker store.
My other friend, who was in ninth grade at the time and went to Christ
the King HS, said, “Lamar Odom”. I said, “Who’s that?” and my friend
said, “Lamar Odom is NBA”. Makes me wonder what it’s like, knowing
that you’re a lock for the NBA at the age of 14… An athletics director
I know says Odom is the most talented player he’s ever seen, but he was
also the stupidest kid he’d ever seen, going as far as to say “he was
stupid as a brick”. For what it’s worth, that director was also as
dumb as a brick, because he absolutely 100% swore to me that Nick Van
Exel had been traded to the Celtics two days prior (never mind that I
check NBA.com and ESPN.com everyday during the summer and heard no such
talk), and he was pissed because that meant Boston wouldn’t need Omar
Cook who was in camp with Boston at the time (also of Christ the King
lore). Rashidi Insider Info at it’s finest. Rashidi is a big Lamar
Odom fan, but recently he received an E-mail from someone alleging they
are Lamar Odom’s cousin. This cousin informed me that Lamar is deeply
upset with the comments I made about him (referring to him as “stupid
as a brick”). However, if Lamar had read closely, he would have
noticed that I did not make the comments, someone who knew him did.
One can only wonder about Lamar’s reading comprehension, and which side
of the NBA’s Read to Achieve program he should be a part of. Further,
I find it humorous how this “cousin” would come so quickly to defend
the intellect of Lamar Odom, when IT IS A WELL KNOWN THAT LAMAR CHEATED
ON HIS ACT’S (American College Test). At Christ the King he ranked
312th in a class of 334, yet somehow finished in the top 42% in the
country on the ACT with 22 of 36. The SAT equivalent to a 22 is a
score of 1030. Five months before taking the ACT, Odom admitted to
newspapers that he got a 630 on the SAT. A 400 point improvement in 5
months, on a test that is an indicator of life-long schooling? Let the
facts fall where they may, cousin O. At least Rashidi can smile
knowing that he got a higher SAT mark without cheating.

Dumbness at school proves nothing, KG only came out of highschool because he was so dumb no college would take him.

Well it does when you have to learn the triangle, complicated system with many reads and the ability to critically analyze.

First of all, who the hell is Rashidi?
In addition, he keeps on referring to himself in third person in that piece... and we all know that anyone referring to himself in third person is an idiot.
And last but not least, it looks like Rashidi himself has some grammatical mistakes, some of them particularly egregious, in that article/post/whatever the hell that was.

Oh I know.

It's that freakin' loser who posts good ratings of NBA players for games and claims that he deserves a paying job for his commendable act- something he does for free regardless.

I suppose this story might be true, but it does sound like he's overly bitter about Odom.
I'm not one of Odom's supporters, but still my guess would be that Rashidi is bitter over some personal incident that happened between him and Odom- perhaps something like Odom stealing his girlfriend?

Of course, this is not to say that I think Odom is capable of scoring higher than 650 on the SAT; I would be shocked to see him scoring above 350~400 on each section.

hahaha, from the clock management skills he showed in the Sacramento game...I'm not quite sure how much algebra he knows...let alone addition and subtraction.

So, KG wouldn't be good on this team, huh? Same logic.

If anyone's freaked out about "school smarts" bleeding into the ability to
run the triangle, then drop any inkling you have of acquiring Trenton
Hassel.

I don't know what the production people were thinking a couple nights ago
with the Wolves game, but at half-time they had a Black History Month
segment where Hassel read about a 3-minute dialogue over pictures and
video to explain an event in black history.

He sounded like the kid in Billy Madison who could barely read anything
over 4-letters long. It was embarassing to listen to honestly, I just felt
bad for him that the production people hadn't know better than to let him
stutter and mispronounce over 3-mins of dialogue in deadpan monotone.

It was painful.

Dont put words in my mouth...I'm simply saying this is one case where "dumbness in school" transfers to the hardwood. And we all know he's not the most intelligent person off the court, while KG is quite well spoken, along with Kobe...who are also high school players. Anyways, Odom just looks dumb with that smirk he always has that basically says "I'm extremely lazy and I will not play with passion tonite"
