Is there a player you had hoped the Lakers would've drafted this year but didn't?

The player i had hoped that they would take is Jordan Bell

I had Lonzo on a fast break going down the middle of the court with Nance, Jr on the left and Bell on his right dancing in my head. He could pass to either one of them and if they tried to block their shot, it could result in a broken hand.

Now bell goes to the warriors for $3.5 million

I wanted Ike Anigbogu. He slipped big time, so maybe missing out wasn't so bad.

I really really like who we got. Hartenstein got medically flagged, Bolden wasn't high character. So with that being considered, we drafted the next guys that I wanted.
Good amount of Kuzma, Hart, Bryant talk in the draft thread in the lead up

Not really. Anyone after the lottery is such a low chance of being relevant that I don't worry about it. As long as they have some reasonable skills (not a pure project) and are relatively athletic (aka have some upside), I'm pretty good. Used that logic with Nance when everyone was freaking out about him being a garbage pick, wanting Looney (OMG UCLA), Hunter, Christmas or Harrell instead and Nance is the only one who was actually a viable NBA player out of that group. Even Brown, the guy people liked more later on pretty much won't make it to a second contract.

I kind of liked Frank Jackson. I think he's going to be a pretty solid back-up SG off the bench.

Jordan Bell. I can't believe teams keep trading these picks to Golden State.

I'd have taken Hartenstein, instead of Bryant.

Bingo. I trust our FO will have one or two productive players of the three drafted. I'm not sweating the rest.

I really wanted Bolden at 27 but Kuzma was also on my radar, and loved Hart at 30.

Hated seeing Semi go to Boston.

He's a unique prospect with rare physical tools and skillset.
