Unfortunately no... just listening to the radio. But it's unbelievable how he beat Boozer to the court this year.

3 fouls. My biggest concern is that he will be overly aggressive on a consistent basis. If he can tone that down as needed, I have high hopes for him.

I think he's not ready for big minutes yet. He's great, but he still has a lot to learn. Give him some time and he'll be better.

2 of those fouls were complete BS. Only reason they called them was because he's a rookie.

He has the thinest legs i've seen since keon clark, is that due to his recent surgery?

His legs look small b/c he's barrel chested (like D. George). It's all relative.

Sarcasm I hope.

The guy is playing his first real minutes in the league. He's a rookie. He's a second round pick. He has a lot of energy. He's said to be a banger and likes to go after boards.

And oh yeah, he's coming back from open-heart surgery in less than a year.

Let's give him some time to develop before we do the

i know what he is coming from, still doesn't mean we hype him up and start putting expectations that shouldn't be put on him.

so no it wasn't hype at all. wow he is a second round pick.. so what. von is a second round pick, and if people started hyping him up i would say the same thing.

i root for him, but i won't hype him up, cuz sooner or later these very same posters are going to tear him down

I must've misunderstood what you meant the first time around. I thought you meant he's all hype, not enough substance or something of that sort.

I tend to agree with you. Let's let him play enough minutes before even passing judgment on his game.

From a character standpoint, there's no denying he's a great guy and someone that could help inspire the Lakers on the court just from his infectious cheering on the sideline.

exactly. it great that he is just playing, i just don't want people to bash him if he isn't starting by the end of the year. everyone on our team gets bashed unfairly, because of what people expect from them. we are a young team. i mean, i get angry at sasha, but this is his second year (first year of pt) so i expect some growing pain, but he gets bashed a lot, and i think it had to do with him getting a lot of hype at the begining of last year.
we both agree, i have so much respect for ronny, and i hope he reaches expectations, but i hope people think of where he is coming from b4 we bash him, if by next year he isn't producing as we would want.

it was good to see him get out there today tho

Did anyone see him cheering when Smush drew that one charge? I cracked up, it's like Kobe just made a game winning buzzer beater or something. Ronny is going to produce for this team not only on the bench but on the court aswell, he's great for the morale of this team. I'll credit Mitch for taking a chance on him.

The guy is a warrior! How many people shortly after open heart surgery would have the guts to stand in the lane and take a charge from a 6"10 Okur?

What is wrong with being a fan and getting exciited about Ronny playing after all this.

You can call it hype. I call it being a fan.

Maybe aren't fan, or just don't know what one is.

I like the guy. When he first came in, and was lined up for a free throw, I yelled ROOOONNNNNYYYYY and he turned around and winked at me. It was cool. (I was on the court, so he actually heard me )
